Hi MyDFIR, I just signed up via your website. Been working as a SOC analyst for about a year now, still have lots to learn and am happy where I am at the moment. I understand I need to do my due-diligence as I'm taking a more progressive approach to my sec career rather than trying to skip steps. you're doing such a great work sir. i've been learning the basic stuff i need to know, did some basic courses on Cisco & then on fortinet. currently doing the google cybersecurity course. most of the certificate exams focus more on the theoretical aspects of infosec/cloud sec, so I've been worrying if I'll have enough experience before going into my postgraduate degree & eventually getting an internship. will check out all these 4 resources overtime. thanks a lot!

I really like KC7cyber. Have you checked it out? I've learned how to analyze security logs and how to pivot around datasets to investigate simulated intrusions. Through the learning modules I've learned how to identify things across the Mitre Att&ck framework and what lateral movement looks like and what an lsass memory dump is and how that is used to gain privileged access. There are also fun details like having to decode powershell commands to see what an attacker is doing. It's been the most fun I've had with any of the learning platforms I've tried.
