Just got back to DCS , had to resharpen my hornet knowledge, your vids where perfect for that thanks /subbed, btw if UNCAGE doesent work , im i just out of range ?

As always great explanation. My issue is the release range - its SO HARD with the RWR going crazy to not launch and turn away. There is no range indication or info from the weapon/jet to tell you when the SAM is in range or even when to consider weapon release. I have been told, like your example showed, when the boxed target in HUD gets to the bottom of the HUD it is in range... thoughts?

Hi! How do you know when your in-range to magnum the harms? I've only used PB mode so far and can shootout pre-calculated radars from 40-50 miles out. With SP I never seem to know if I'm getting the target or not or if it will reach the target as some radar can send you a radar lock from really far out.

I feel f16 with the had sensor is better. U can lock the site using radar and the missile loft itself
