Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai's address in Premamrutham on momentous day of SaiSure Health Mix launch in Karnataka for 5.56 million children
He stated that, upon his advice Annapoorna Trust's secretary Anand Kadali started serving morning nutrition in outskirts of Bengaluru to 50 children in the year 2012. Today it has grown into World's Largest Morning Nutrition program by any private NGO. On this day Government of Karnataka have joined hands with Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust to serve SaiSure Ragi Multi Nutrient Health Mix to 5.56 million children in more than 53,000 school in entire state. With this morning nutrition is served to 9 million children across the Nation.
Everybody sees this as an achievement towards improving the health, nutrition & mental capabilities. But I see this as spiritual revolution. Every spoon of SaiSure put in the glass of milk is carrying blessing, sacrifice, love & compassion of thousands of people & volunteers. This carries so much of purity & divinity which not only has nutrition but daily dose of divinity as well. This will lead to internal transformation in each child.
Farmers in remote areas grow Ragi organically & support the production of SaiSure Ragi Health Mix so that there is no dearth of supply of Nutrition to children. They are provided better price when compared to the market & support price. In addition to this farmers upon knowing the cause in detail, on their own offered some of the produce freely as part of their service & tradition. This is India's culture which still lives in the villages.
On one side children grow healthily & on the other side farming community is also taken care. Sadguru concluded his talk by stating, this way, Our Mission is getting better every single day.
