no one can sing that way as she sings.. she is quite unique, because she is an artist..

she struggled a lot with drugs and alcohol addiction and almost k1ll3d herself, so that's the reason her vocals nowadays sound more tense e cracky, but I love her voice anyway

She uses her wig, not just because she gets distracted and forget the words when facing the public. She just want to have a normal life (she doesn’t like, and didn’t wanted to be famous.) so she can go out, without a lot of problems. Plus she wants people to follow her not for how she looks, if not for her talent while singing and writing.

Random fact, she is the cousin of Peter Furler of the CCM band "Newsboys". She was also one of the singers in the trip hop/acid jazz group Zero 7.

Such a great creative artist , loved the different clips as we don't often see her live , my only annoyance is her style of enunciation , my favourite is 'Cheap Thrills' ft Sean Paul a brilliant collaboration and such a fun video - the song always makes me feel happy 😀
