Cant argue the engineers logic.
We asked them work at night, they said no its dark. We are engineers we can make it brighter then day light.

Good they took their time to evaluate. The project was not 'frustrated' of course, but delayed... for a good reason, the gifts of a mega-project. Ah, and the Byzantine empire never "ruled the world".

Constantinople has been in a earthquake area for as long as people can remember. Building something under this conditions, you need capabilities, or as in this case a hole lot of luck. Too often building just collapse in Turkey. Than they blame everybody except those who are responsible. I would say to everybody, do not go inside that tunnel. The same concrete used for collapsing buildings is used for this tunnel, and if the Turks use more reliable concrete for this tunnel why wouldn't they have used that reliable concrete on those apartment complexes.

Interesting. Clearly well researched and edited.
May I recommend 1.15x speed for native speakers or those that find the ai voice a distraction or an annoyance.
I feel that since the Byzantine Empire rose from the ashes of [half of] the Roman but didn't add too much extra that the Romans hadn't previously had under their sway, it's tough to say that 'the Byzantine Empire ruled the world'. Saying 'the world' in The Old Testament and meaning the Levant is fine (archaic ignorance as we judge it), doing the same a thousand or two years later, when Alexander has been to India and gone all Persian, after Ibn Fadlan, isn't really kosher. They had an empire amongst numerous others and they ruled a large part of their region; not the majority of the world known to them. It was, after all, not they who fought the Battle of Talas but two inarguably greater Empires. I mean the Danish Empire (2.23% of world population at the time) was greater than the Byzantine (from 2 to 2.08%), in landmass too - the Danish being 3M km2 over the (at max) 2.8M Byzantine. I'm not lobbying for the Danish Empire, just pointing out that nobody would claim them to have been ruling the world at the time, nor should we the Byzantines.

Should it be distressing that, a Muslim country is doing this excavation on a Christian site? What I’m saying, we know the Roman Empire was deeply involved in Christianity. Can we be sure that we will be made aware of every discovery? Especially with all the recent events.

an ancient harbour was found due to earthworks in italy or spain, i forget which. when they came across big stone blocks, a wall, with big bronze rings it was clear. the coast was some distance from this town as it had moved X amount of miles over the centuries but the harbour had been at the end of a ruver/estuary and there had been a natrual disaster. a wave had taken out the harbour and sunk ships moored there. in the hull of one was found a skeleton of a man and a small dog laying together. national geographic did the article i read.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

Constantinople, Constantine was the one who joined PAGANS to the church, being a friend of the world, an enemy of the cross of CHRIST. He was hostile to the blood of HIS suffering. Now we Christmas and Easter 100% pagan belief. Behold you scoffer perish and dissappear for the thing spoken of in the prophets has come upon you... UNBELIEF!

2,000 years old LMFAO, come back when you find channel's to improve habitat dated at 50,000 years old.
Then middle east is sign post to the deletion of civilisation bye religion.
It shows how misogyny ,genocide and child rape and marriage started.
I do not consider any collection of hominids in the middle east or Mediterranean as examples of civilisation.
These people where still throwing faeces at each when my people where re modelling the land scape, doing chemistry not alchemy, doing astronomy not astrology, doing land management not building monuments for genocide and child rape over 55,000 years ago.

yet here you are bragging about an alleged 2,000 year old port.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we spent more of our time and money, exploring our past, while building our future no reason for that tunnel not sure exist and no reason for us not to spend the funds needed to dig up and hold these antiquities for a scientific study. Biology, Education of all kinds, I mean there isn’t any subject that cannot be advanced from this fantastic building project.🎉
