Hey, can anyone help me out with real analysis? I am a first-year undergrad who knows basics of Probability theory, probability distributions etc

I love solving definite integrals where the integrand is a floor function. They involve logic on so many levels.

1) If you invert the brackets would that be the 'roof' function? 2) Does this relate to modulus?

So, the ceiling function has the equal part in the latter part of the inequality. Correct? In other words, n < X <= n+1? So, it brings X up to the nearest real number.

I think the greatest integer function is also the same function f(x)= [x]
