By the way, I really enjoy your videos. No music, no animations, so fancy editing, just you explaining math with a paper and pencil. Love the way you explain!

I would love to see you make more short videos like these explaining random math concepts. (Satisfying to watch and helps a lot!)

(Also, I love your videos where you show some math books, all of them are gems!)

I love solving definite integrals where the integrand is a floor function. They involve logic on so many levels.

1) If you invert the brackets would that be the 'roof' function? 2) Does this relate to modulus?

So, the ceiling function has the equal part in the latter part of the inequality. Correct? In other words, n < X <= n+1? So, it brings X up to the nearest real number.

I think the greatest integer function is also the same function f(x)= [x]
