What did you learn during this hip workout? Drop me a comment!👇
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhen you say do the exercise 2 times a week, rest a day in between. If I want to do a different set of exercises is it okay to do three or 4 different ones each day? And then when you’re on your rest day can you do some different exercises? Hope I’m not confusing you too much? I really am needing balance exercises too.

ОтветитьWhat to do to help with hip dysplasia? Please
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI learned that my painful side is very limited when doing the exercises as compared with my good side.
ОтветитьmATT YOU ARE MY HERO. I could kiss your feet. THANK YOU.
ОтветитьAfter watching and learning the exercises yesterday, I must tell you that last night was the first time I was able to sleep PAIN FREE after a long time of suffering watching many videos from ´experts" who do not know what they are teaching. I am 83 years old and disgusted from the lack of good information out there.
ОтветитьWow! These exercises are the Best, and you explain them so clearly. Thank you❤
ОтветитьThe. Forward Fold position is not good if you have disc problems. For me, the way you have your head cranked back and up, with lots of tension in the neck, is a stopper, although bending over at the waist and having to use my neck in that position, is a problem even if my head was drooping down or held on the horizontal. I have totally disintegrated TM joints in my jaw, which makes them permanently dislocated. The muscle spasms I suffer all the time from this dislocation and the need to use my jaw anyway to talk and eat, are awful. Especially in the occupital region which, when tight enough, leads to vertigo. Could you devise another exercise that activates and tones those important leg muscles? I can see that I really need to do these kind of exercises. I'm somebody who is always giving in to the pain of the muscle spasms that starts in my jaw goes down my neck into my back arms chest and pulls me over in a forward posture all the time.

ОтветитьDuring the hip extension my left groin, which is the left hip that is giving me the pain, I got a sharp pain as I extended my right leg. I continued with the exercise. Will that sharp pain eventually go away?
ОтветитьHow do I know it’s not referred pain from a lumbar disc? The symptoms are similar to what I had with my L4/5 disc 30 years ago!
ОтветитьOh my goodness can I do that when I’m in a lot of pain?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI have bilateral hip bursitis, hamstring tendinopathy, hip labrum tears, and TIGHT IT BAND!!!

I’ve lived with chronic pain for seven years, and it’s so much worse the past four months( ever since I went mattress shopping!)

ОтветитьI'm 74 & 6 years ago my physio referred me to my local leisure centre where I started to exercise. I'm still managing to avoid a hip replacement by exercising 6 days a week. Mostly in the pool, but also with yoga & the toning chairs. Occasionally I use a fantastic sports masseur & feel I continue for many years yet.
ОтветитьMatt, these exercises are working for my right hip pain. Started with stabbing pain and trying different types of stretches with limited success only going back to the stabbing pain. I could not touch the floor on the forward fold. Hamstrings would not let me get close to the floor. Still not able to punch the floor on the forward fold, but at least I'm touching the floor after just a week and a half.
I'm feeling pretty good, but the right hip still seems to have some 'stiffness'. What type of stretching might you suggest to eliminate the remainder of my pain.
Looks like a barre workout to me. I can do that.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI always think muscles!! I’m 75 work out regularly for years…strength training .. and walk 3miles daily …I like these exercises as I have had some hip twinges.. when something hurts I google exercises to help so far I have not needed any joint or bone surgeries.. THERPY over surgery any day!! Thank you
ОтветитьOMG this is exactly what I have been doing!!! I have so many videos! Thank you. Since finding Upright Health, I love all your videos.
ОтветитьI'm on a research tour and discovered some of your videos. I instantly did one of the simple "hip strengthening" exercises. It's half an hour ago. Since then I have goosebumps all over the right side of my body (where my pain is located) it feels like my body releases something (maybe the Demon of tightness and lack of mobility)
You're an exorcist. 😂
I'll keep going on with you. Love your humor and explanation. Greetings from Germany.
Come on mate get on with it .
ОтветитьHi! I have been diagnosed with chronic psoas tendinitis. I did the above exercises and the only one that hurt was the hip flexion. I was able to lift my knee up past a 45 degree angle, but I had a sharp pain with it. Any suggestions? Thank you for posting these videos. I have been looking for help for a long time.
ОтветитьI’m confused … .. are you supposed to just fight thru the pain? How long does it take to feel better ? Some video say stretch other say don’t stretch just strengthen. It’s very confusing. Anybody’s opinion would be much appreciated!
ОтветитьThanks! Needed this
ОтветитьHi I have oestitis pubis on one knows how to treat it any help would be much appreciated

ОтветитьI've had hip pain for months! Gets worst during the cold weather or when I'm sitting down too long. I have a desk job. I've been doing these exercises for two weeks, not even every day, and I can already feel a difference! Amazing! Thanks so much for this information
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHad a rectus femoris injury a few months ago. PT was working, but I’ve hit a wall. After light exercise my hip just get tired. Very discouraging. I’m 39 and highly active.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhat if you are scheduled for knee replacement? Will the hip exercises put too much strain on the knee?
ОтветитьDid you ever find out why you had so much pain in nearly every body part at age 16? Thank you for the information. Currently dealing with what Dr. thinks is trochanteric bursitis (right hip pain). Had 1 steroid/pain shot and will begin physical therapy soon. The shot didn’t really help much. 😮
