Smart View works great with the Optimum app to allow cell phone to function like a wireless portable cable box throughout my entire house working with all my smart tvs.

For what ever reason I can't do this at all with my galaxy 23ultra to my samsung smart tv....
Phone sees the TV. Message even pops up on the TV saying it's connecting to the phone...Annnd that's it. Never actually connects.

Saki doesn't mention most Tvs require you to have a casting option in the input list. Sony says Screen mirroring, Hisense has Any view Cast etc. Select this option from the input menu and your TV should appear in your list of TV's to cast to.

I've been using this feature for a long time on the road as a trucker. Have a smart tv on the wall in my truck and I'll put a movie on my phone and it plays perfectly on my tv. I did not know about the app cast feature though, that is awesome, thanks!

My S22Ultra can't connect to my Samsung Smart TV. When pick Smart View, it said at TV its going to connection but after 10 secs, nothing happen, no error messages, nothing happened. Weird

if it is a samsung tv, it doesn't need to be on the same wifi network. it is not even necessary to have network access to cast to samsung tv from a samsung phone.

It doesn't work with either of my Vizio TVs.
