Cast on Ignite Hexblast Infernalist Endgame Guide/Final Build Update

Has anyone tested if ignite proliferation counts towards building your energy for cast on ignite? (Haven't finished watching the video so please excuse me if this is already answered haha)

Man I tried to figure out how to make something just like this work on Maxrolls build editor and I just wasn’t sure recoup would be enough to mitigate the self ignite and I wasn’t sure how I’d get enough fire resistance. Very cool you figured it out definitely gotta level my demon mommy now. I don’t have the divines for the damn rings atm though. I should’ve bought them when they were a couple exalts.

Bringer of Flame requires you to "not be on low Infernal Flame" to get the ignite chance. Is this a problem?

thank you very much, i tried to love minions as hard as i could but you just can't push ahead fast enough with them. i have not even tried breach map or simulacrum with minions as i just don't think the will stand up to it. but this looks great.
the moment i saw demon mommy was an option i prayed for someone smarter then me to figure it out and this really looks good. will be switching over immediately.

Do you know what happens when u take chaos inoculation with this build? Would you die instantly when you transform? (I am guessing yes)

Hey love the build! Glad you made Pyromantic Pact work! I switched over to this and I did have a question about searing flame on hexblast. I'm a little confused if maybe my understanding of ailments is wrong but why take searing flame on hexblast. Does the magnitude of the ignite affect energy gain on cast on ignite? I thought magnitude was just the damage from the ignite itself which i dont believe is our focus for this build anyway but wanted to ask for clarification

If you have gear with max mana on it does it add to max infernal flame ?

Is there a way to not die immediately from this build without having dozens of divines worth of investment? I keep dying so fast after switching to this build from your previous one...

I'm only level 89 with this build which nodes should I drop so that I can go get the fireproof node?

Should the maximum mana be lowered? So we can take fire damage at a higher frequency.Or is it that the maximum mana value has no effect on this BD?

If you swap to Mask of the Stitched Demon while you're in demon form, the game snapshots your ES and you still gain the life regen benefits from the helm

im so confused iv tried to copy the build but im not getting the total life recovery stat showing in my stat page, also i dont have any Life regen from other sources. i have the jewels and all the gear even the anoint, my life drains to 0 when im at 60 stacks ?

wait you saying i cant use any buffs on controller?

That wither on eye of winter setup is incredible, would it make sense to keep eye of winter at the lowest rank possible for mana conservation or does it really not matter?

What search do you use to find the jewels on the trade market? Either I’m doing it wrong or there’s just zero rubies with fire res or life regeneration for sale.

Ok... Since i tried Doth build (Chaos hexblast) last time and it didn't work, because i had not enough spirit (145) for some stuff even tho he said it should be enough and nothing mentioning it in his guide, i went back to minion build.

IS there a way to play this build without 6link gems and with lv. 75 already? Or should i wait till i get higher in level and switch back to it once i reach 80/90? AND HOPEFULLY some items to get more links in my skill gems

Is this spec unplayable if you take the extra life in act1?

build is ungodly expensive with the jewel costing like 5-10 divine each tho

Explain how this build lives against powerful chaos damage? Apart from 75% resistance we have nothing, if chaos damage of 1000-1500 hits us is it a oneshot?

I dont notice my hexblast igniting anything

can you play this build when you not have the gems with +2 Fire Res becouse there are soooo expensive

is heavy frost really doing a lot for you? so much of your damage is chaos and heavy frost only ignores elemental damage - fire lightning and cold

I don’t know why, but hexblast almost doesn’t ignite, so casting it ignite doesn’t work at all =/

idk what i'm missing but my hexblast does not ignite anything... it's chilling instead

i must doing something wrong, can't try the build since i'm always getting out of demon form i don't know why, i'm at 107 fire res imo

Hi, I just put this together and my hexblast only shows 1k damage while yours shows 100k damage, where does all this damage come from?

Interesting. I was planning to do a similar recoup route with heartbound loop but maybe not having to worry about mana sounds nice too.

tried it and cant seem to get comets to drop not sure what ive done wrong any help ?

How do you cast so much on ignite i have full ascendancy and gem links.... i dont cast as much

can this work with something different from comet, just for fun to swap skills sometimes?

For those curious, I managed to make this build from scrap today with around 8-9d (probs cld of saved more but got p impatient at some points). Top tip: buy magic rarity jewels with max fire res and apply greater essence of bodies to try and roll life regen, much cheaper than just buying the gem, and even if you don’t roll the life regen % u can use chaos orbs to try and squeeze out more of a chance to get (acc saved me bricking 3 jewels). Have legitimately managed to match in every affix around v close if not higher in rolls, barring shit like the accuracy and cold dmg and armour. If you are willing to be a lot more lenient and mb don’t care as much about capping ur res u cld probs get this all around 4d

Can i play this version of the build having taken both the candleflame boss bonuses?

This is why I love PoE. The different combos people take to get past certain hurdles is nuts. Great video and thanks for this! I've been wanting to play demon form for awhile now and you just nailed every weakness demon form has. 🥳

Hey im confused how are you dealing fire damage with hex blast in order to cause the ignite?

wouldn't chaos damage one tap this build?

you just enable the auras on your 2nd weapon set with controller.

Finally got around to doing what I would consider the bare minimum of the mobalytics guide, let me know if there is anything I need to add instantly.
I updated the skill gems and skill tree based on feedback I got in the comments.
I also added a Noncrit version which should be much easier for people to get into the build with and I cut down the skill trees to Level 90 which will hopefully help as well.
