for some reason when
i apply all the settings for the brush it doesnt apply onto the canvas

I'm trying to screen print my designs but I use some kind of gradient in them so should I bit map the image or is there a better way to do it because I dont want the dots to be so visible?

So if I’m getting an image printed on a black sweatshirt, and I’m fade the image with a black vignette, how do I ensure that there isn’t a black rectangle still showing? Is there a trick for that or is that dependent on the printer? Would it be better to instead of fading to black on the image to fade transparency?

PLEASE HELP I keep trying to make the grunge brush following all of the steps to the tee, but for some reason there's this weird kind of black/transparent square around the brush when I use it. I'm pretty new to photoshop so I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing that.

painting black over the edges is only useful for the poster design. it doesn't translate to tshirt printing since it just lowers the opacity which will print cloudy. I still can't find any useful information on how to do this properly without converting everything to bitmap or using halftones

So what is the best printing method that would do well with fades?
