I did enjoy it the first time through, but then my son wanted to go searching for the moons and, bam, it went from a good game to a bore fest.

Such a cool premise that did almost nothing with its ideas. I started a second play through and noticed it even more. The T-Rex part is cool. All 30 seconds of it. And that was it. I got through the second play through quickly because there was nothing overly enjoyable to do. Mario World is much more enjoyable overall.

Wonder is number 1.
People need to forget the ,,old is gold" stuff.

At least Super Mario Sunshine introduced Bowser Jr. I personally prefer the Wii version of New Super Mario Bros. I think Bowser’s Fury was based off of Godzilla vs Kong. There sure are different main line Mario games here (Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario 3D, New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario, Mario Maker, Paper Mario, etc). The Goomba king is known as Goomboss. I think Super Mario Bros. 2 was based off of the Super Mario Bros Super Show, similar to shows SMB3, and Super Mario World. The added music with Elephant Mario is similar to the added music when riding on Yoshi. My first ever main line Mario games were Mario Kart with Wii, and Super Mario with Galaxy. Some Super Mario Galaxy themes help me go to sleep. When do you think Mario and Peach will ever get married, and how did characters like Giuseppe and Pauline find the warp pipe to the Mushroom Kingdom? Maybe Nintendo could bring back Stanley so he could be Mario’s protégé.

Mario Odyssey is just the worst. It belongs at the bottom. And I have no clue why original Mario Bros and the next one were so high. A lot of the levels are really samey. And the controls suck. Mario Bros 3... the controls also suck. And I wasn't that interested in most of the levels.

Can't we all appreciate how these guys went from top 10s and 5s or scary cartoon secrets videos too having many different channels with increasing quality

I just finished wonder and honestly I didn't like it that much. The creativity was top tier but I feel like the creativity was all the game had. The levels other than being creative just felt like I was watching a colorful animation bc the game took 0 skill and 0 brainpower so I had literally no immersion (some of those flowers were 10/10 tho), The powerups felt all the same just a little different, the badges is a great addition especially for replayability but for this game the badges just werent balanced so i bet everyone only used 1 the whole playthrough. The most memorable part of Mario games are the boss fights and there wasnt really a boss fight, went against Junior which did trhe same moves in all 4 of his fights and you could literally probably do it with your eyes closed if you just jumped around. Soundtrack imo wasn't memorable at all couldnt even hum a song in my head if I wanted to. Which I also think plays a fact it wasnt that immersive so the songs didnt have my full attention.

I think the most visual appealing the more you need to have us focus on the screen so the visuals don't take away gameplay, felt like I could beat most levels by just spam jumpin walking forward, idk if they didnt wanna do too much bc of how visually appealing it is but I think they shouldve did the opposite to not have alll attention on effects feeling like Im watching an animation or sum. I heard ppl do think it's difficult but I havent played a mario game in 10 years and died 10 times. Overall imo 6/10.

New Super Mario Bros should be top 3 imo. The most solid main game. And it has minigames and 2-player game modes going with it.

Super mario 64 DS above 3D world 💀. I've tried so many times but I can never get used to 64 DS. Probably my least favourite mario game. With the original on the N64 being my favourite

Odyssey definitely deserves this praise! It feels so immersive and snappy, but light at the same time. Everything a Mario game should be and more!
