Thay should all go back to 26" for a race, for shits and giggles. Be interesting to see who comes out on top.
ОтветитьThe best part about 29ers getting popular is it will make 27 get cheaper n maybe I'll be able to afford them
ОтветитьMtb 29 all the Way, espesially in touring 😊
ОтветитьWhy not have 2 classes, 29ers and 27.5 ?
Ответитьit would be more entertainment to only alow 20" wheels then you know who can ride not who can hang on
Ответитьhey,....no beard...?
Ответить28" wheels! problem solved though out your bikes pple
ОтветитьGreat video, agree with keeping the tracks a bit naughty rather than just easing them out for speed. I'm 6'2 and I prefer 27.5 all day, had a go on both, different bikes sadly but just got on better with 27.5, not doing a lot of dh was a mix of everything.
Ответитьsurely the frame is more of a factor for short people than the wheels.
Ответитьcan we go and ask this question again 2020? I bet half the pros have changed there mind haha
ОтветитьFunny to watch these old views and how most of the riders are on 29 now definitely think that each size has a place and some people making bikes with both options is catering to everyone’s needs
Ответить2020 all wants 29er
Ответитьwho cares what the pros think. they will ride anything for money even my fat sister
ОтветитьOld school Marin 2005 bike with 26" all the way from Madagascar :)
ОтветитьI own a 29 inch bike just because I use it to travel across town. I got faster for less energy, which is the entire reason I bought it. Logically speaking, 29 IS faster than 27.5 but it's not nearly as nimble or fun to use. They should really keep the different bikes in different classes cause of their perks being so different.
Ответитьpenny farthing front wheels on the cards guys, you just wait and see!
ОтветитьWho’s watching in 2020 when 29’s are everywhere
ОтветитьI have a 29er commencal supreme. Only had it for two months but my impression is its faster on tracks with less turning, with big straight runs.
My 27.5 is more manoeuverable on tighter twistier tracks and is more fun and playful.
make 28.25 and save yourself the argument :)
Ответить29 is the best
Ответить26er more like a girls bike nowadays
ОтветитьSpeed, technique and riding finesse on a bike course should come from a persons ability to ride and pick their lines rather than the technology making it easier. The change even from 26er with all rigid bike mountain bike to 26er with shocks is when it began killing the purism of the sport. Speed should not be the most important thing. Speed, technique, riding finesse, stamina, agility and ability are all important in my opinion.
ОтветитьCan I please ask what's better for street/road riding? 27.5 or 29? I'd like to get a hard tail for my son, and for us it is a significant investment. I would like to splash out for him but get the right wheel size bike for where he will be riding most. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhats about 30,5" they are rolling smoother than 29"
ОтветитьI think in the end they just should work on tracks, that you got 50% good for small wheels and 50% for bigger wheels.
Ответить26
ОтветитьMy father bought some xc bikes hardtail 29er an I took them out on a mtb trail I eventually bought a 29er mtb an I realize I feel I’m more nimble on the trails when using 27.5 yet at the same time I’m no where near as combfortable on the trail when I’m using my 29 I like the 29 cause it just makes the trails that much smoother an unless u really are racing I think 29er is the way to go but yeah a bike is a bike
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me which one is for stunt ...29 or 27
ОтветитьNow 2021 everyone is riding on 29"ers
ОтветитьI’d say if your height allows it, only then try 29er otherwise stick to 27.5 or 26 if you like to do bmx kinda tricks. I went from 27.5 to 29 and I’m 5’11” bike feels fast and I have better confidence going over big rocks, but not easy to pop like I use to do on 27.5
Ответить28.25" thats what we need.
ОтветитьImao, lets try 27 fo rear and 29 for front))
ОтветитьI am on a 29er for the shear menacing gigantaur looks.
ОтветитьHoly shit that's mr ashton without the beard
ОтветитьBann the 29.27.5 has more control and better stability in my opinion.
Ответитьi rode 26 before, now i ride 29, much faster and better stability, love my 29
ОтветитьI thought the next size was 36inch wheels.
ОтветитьGod damn, here we are with 36" wheels
ОтветитьIt's so funny seeing those guys from 4 years ago talking about 29" bikes when in 2022 it's the standard
ОтветитьI agree about the speed. These guying are already going so fast one bad crash especially into a tree and you’re gonna be a pink mess but I like the 29
Ответить26" is still the best. That always made me think that the bigger wheels are marketing gimmicks. To encourage people to upgrade. Happened all the time. The pros ride the 29" because their companies said they had to.
Ответитьwas nice to see riders different oppinions. im a 5ft4 rider myself and the extra weight, height etc just isnt good. 27 is way big enough. not to mention the wheels look too big for the bikes and imo look stupid. if you like them and they are good for your size and ride style then cool, you should have the option to have them, but what i really dont likke is now in 2022, there is a serious lack of 27 wheeled bikes out there which really limits what bike i buy. all bikes should come with an option of 27 0r 29. but im sticking to 27.5.
ОтветитьGreat to see the riders concerned for the galloping prices of new bikes and all we're told we got to have. When bought mine I had to have Codes. It had Trp's and man I couldn't be more happy 🙏
Ответить27,5" The Best!!!!!Fuck 29"!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьA World of Difference
ОтветитьI'm still waiting for 32in wheels
ОтветитьWhy is he on a wheelchair?
ОтветитьWas the interviewer in a bike accident?
