i got their discontinued SRT9 The Lumintop EDC18 is better than the EDC27 because the 2800 lumen turbo mode can stay on a lot longer
ОтветитьI think an Arkfeld Tac would be dope. Ditch the side switch, put a tail switch on it, and make it dual white LEDs. And make the modes high and low like their warrior lights.
ОтветитьAlways nice to have flashlight NOS.
ОтветитьIf we use it for about 1-2 hours without turning off the lights, is there a problem?
ОтветитьI have one...love it as it is my current EDC. I am not a high lumen junkie so to make it a perfect EDC, would be longer runtimes with 500, 200, 50, 25 and 5 lumen. I would much rather have a light that I could run all night than having a 5000 - 7 second turbo.
ОтветитьI have to ask, why in the world does someone need a light that bright with all those features?? Crazy.
Defensive light? I believe anything over 200 lumens is said to work.
New EDC toy of the month now?
Love the features, beautiful design, yep, this is my next buy. Thanks for the review mate!
ОтветитьI think Nitecore makes a cool product but charges way too much. I imagine they'd sell a lot more if they were more affordable.
ОтветитьThis is the best EDC light out today. Love it and use it everyday.
ОтветитьHave you tried the P20ix?
Its the 4000 lumen counterpart of this with standard cylindrical tactical flashlight shape which is still surprisingly small and handy and can sustain that amount of brightness for much longer as well as being IP68 rated waterproof.
Best item I’ve ever preordered
ОтветитьI've accidentally burn a hole into my pants when I forgot to lockout the light😢. I laid on my sofa and somehow managed to activate the tactical switch and the 30 seconds or so generated enough heat. I ended up opening up and added a small oring under the button and it takes maybe double the pressure so it's alot better for me. I love the light for how it fits in my pocket, but I agree with you that's its probably not for everyone. I kinda wish they gave us a 1 lumen moonlight mode as well. I'm currently in the honeymoon stage with my olight warrior mini 3
ОтветитьI just got a Fenix PD36R PRO, but this does have an absolutely ideal button setup. I may need it 😢
ОтветитьHow much do they cost?
ОтветитьSince you said/showed nothing at all concerning the battery type, it seems I must infer that it is not replaceable, not a readily available standard type, or proprietary and probably quite costly. (I use the inclusive "or" here.) The Amazon link also says nothing about the battery.
ОтветитьI like it but the buttons and the different modes can be confusing
Ответитьits not the future if it doesnt have
-dual battery (1 LiPo, 1 empty slot),
-battery type,
-replaceable,
-and rechargable.
For a minute there I thought that it also had a Clock. But I think that’s just how long it will run at each level. Why doesn’t somebody make one? That’s also a watch? If it’s already got a screen anyways, she might as well give it a time function as well.
ОтветитьI wish they would make something like this but about half the size. Most people aren’t gonna need that much by and it’s just not worth the bulk. I thought about buying one, but not at that price. I’m not saying that it’s too expensive but it would just be nice to get a little bit smaller one that’s a little bit cheaper. There’s really nobody that’s making a flat flashlight that’s about half that size if there is, I haven’t seen it. And I look around a lot for different flashlights online.
ОтветитьBump
ОтветитьAwesome Video! I love all the cool edc gear on this channel!
ОтветитьI got mine during their second run. I was on a waiting list. I keep it on my desk. Crazy thing is it takes some getting used to. I was locking myself out of it with wrong button presses. I also have an Imalent MS06. I have it in my vehicle for a specific purpose. I haven't used it in 3 months. I forgot the interface when I needed to use it today. lol
ОтветитьI bought it in June on AliExpress. Love it. To be honest it bought it cause of the screen. Lol
ОтветитьI dont really like flashlight with integrated battery. I understand that they want to make a smaller size, but i would much rather have a conventional 18650 battery flashlight, since i can easily replace it when needed.
ОтветитьI like the little lanyard loop on the pocket clip
Ответитьthe sofirn SP35T is another light that can be used defensively, what are your thoughts on it?
ОтветитьI’d buy the stiletto if they update the charging ports
ОтветитьIt's wild how strong they are. The Tini2 has all the power I need with a very reasonable battery size.
ОтветитьIf Olight could pull off a high output Arkfeld with a warrior mini 3 tailswitch that'd be a real winner. I think it's possible. Would be sick. I wonder if they'd keep the aux laser as well?
ОтветитьI don't trust brightness, with a very small form factor, as security. Even though that's what all the flashlight companies are pushing nowdays. An LED, 2D or 3D flashlight is better IMO. An animal to chew on that instead of my hand.
ОтветитьYou don't measure the light output. Ip54 means it isn't at all waterproof, it should be ip66 it just needs membrane switches and a gasket seal on the screwthread. Dealbreaker is it looks exactly like an ECD evidence collection device audio recorder, not an EDC every day carry. No headphone or shoulder or molle mount. 5/10
ОтветитьLove the light. Of notecore products had worled for me before i would defenerlt get it. But notecore is up there with ravyvon for me. One fall from 2 feet and they break.
ОтветитьToo big
ОтветитьI’m a newish nitecore fan (discontinued MT10A because AA backup), and this looks compelling. It’s also one of your best shorter videos ever; maybe the best single-flashlight short review ever. More like this please!
ОтветитьFlat buttons, slick, futuristic design, this is fun toy for edc, but not a defensive/tactical flashlight. Yes i like this flashlight, but it's too much pricey to me.
Ответитьnot a Nitecore fan
had issues with the last product
mediocre but functional
they're overrated & over priced
My two cents
1st cent - it might be hard to half press if you're in a fight
2nd cent - good luck using a pocket flashlight to help you in a fight.
I am so glad I got it! This has helped me so much throughout my days since I purchased it!!
Ответить1. How to disassemble annoying, arbitrary, strobe "feature".
2. Candela, candela candela? Lumens mean very little to me for a "defensive" illuminary device.
Can I use the clip with my cap/hat?
ОтветитьI've never been so excited about a flashlight before! Was pretty much perfect for me. Until it burned a hole through my pants. The proximity sensor is pretty useless :/ Proximity sensor only works when you are very close to the reflective surface, If it turns on in your pants, most of the times the sensor is not close enough to the fabric to recognize it. Lock #1 doesn't really help since the Turbo/Strobe button is the problem.
Also, stiletto pro has a removable clip that can be repositioned, the regular stiletto is the one that has bezel up only carry.
Not really 3000 lumens in my book
ОтветитьMan, I almost pulled the trigger on this on Prime Day. But I just can’t get over the fact that it does not have a replaceable battery.
Ответить👍🍻
ОтветитьGot this exact light and I love it . Super easy controls and the led screenb
ОтветитьNot waterproof is a problem. ...but its a good step in the correct direction!
ОтветитьThat is a 1000 lumen flashlight that can do 3000 lumens for 10 seconds before it overheats and cycles back down to 1000 lumens.
ОтветитьJust needs a jabber on it.
Ответитьmy man showed everything but the flashlight working in the dark 😅
ОтветитьPerhaps you can review some Divers Flashlight.!? As for EDC27, will give it a miss. Cheers mate.
