I've been searching for a new job for over 2 years now and the few interviews I've had I got terrible recruiters who wouldn't give me any time to speak, they never asked me the "tell me about yourself" question or really any questions about my experience they just tell me about the job and ask a question or two then immediately end the interview with me not able to get a word in and their tone sounds like they are bored, their sighing, and don't want to be there. Its so frustrating, I feel so hopeless at the end of the interview.

Makes me appreciate how I answer or ask some of these questions irl: concise or straight(forward) to the point because I don't prefer ambiguity, beating around the bush, or best/worst yet, playing politics , misunderstandings or hidden agendas.
Others love those games! But me...I'd like to keep those to a nill, sarcasm to a min & 💯 (aka real) to the max.

I asked a company who was always hiring at their location "Why are you always hiring?" and "How long do people tend to stay here?", all I got as a response was "It's not for everyone." Didn't help that I wasn't hired lol

Madeline, I wanted to thank your channel for the amazing videos. I just finished my master's and will be starting a job next week in an organization I dreamt of working for a few years.
I had around 7 years of experience then I took a break for my master's and was on the search for a job, that matched my experience and expertise. When I got the call for an interview, I was quite nervous, to be honest. About 5-6 days before the interview, I started scouring through your channel and watched multiple videos, which helped me a lot. I prepared answers to questions, specifically as per your suggestions and some other websites as well. I prepared questions for the interviewers at the end, again seeing your video. I nailed the interview, thanks to the multiple videos from this channel!

Any time I've had an interview where I've asked them "what is your favorite part of your job?", I have been hired on the spot. It makes them stop & think, kind of turns the tables a bit, and every single one says they have actually never been asked that/been interviewed during an interview LOL
