Terratech - Unlimited POWER! Stationary & Flying Dynamo Generators!!

I've been wanting to make a catapult in this game, but the amount of force downwards on one end is too much for the anchors to handle, is there any fix to this? Since I need to have tremendous amounts of force if I want to get any damage out of it. I can confirm also that through simply impacting one tech with another one you can get damage beyond even the strongest weapons pre-existing.

Meanwhile the same tank design, but rather than using Dynamo generators, it just harvests wood for fuel.

Theoretically on those tall towers of power you could have two rings moving in the same place at the same speed, then one of them is touching the other with a wheel.

The fact that a wheel touching a plane can generate power in my opinion makes complete sense.

So, if you had a tech run across an enemy tech could you get some free power, and possibly do ramming damage?

How do you repair a vehicle that gets parts blown off? I never got very far into this game because giant enemies kept spawning that would destroy half my vehicle, and it was too expensive to repair.

Honestly nice idea, however it messes up your build. As it will block weapon placement, or make a build alot bigger than it should be, thus harder to move on terrain.

Why not have the wheel drive on the axle itself? Just one block lower?
If this offsets the axle on vertical axis(depending on chosen wheel), use two wheels: one above and one below. The round axle or any cylindrical B.F. block can serve as a static road AND build-off-able feature for the generator core! Finally, who said this must be a ground-parallel generator?

Can you orient the axle of the generator 90 degrees so it points fore and aft, down the body of a tech?
