hi, what did you study in university?
I'm currently studying fine art and will graduate next year. I got really into UI design and want to pursue this career now and i'm wondering if my degree would hold any weight in this field as it is still basically an art & design diploma

Soo looking forward to watch this!! Last time I commented to ask you question and your advice helped me tremendously…🥺 So I wanted to ask you question again!!

I graduated this may and I am on my OPT and I just got an offer email from local digital product agency(Company A) as a contractor (freelancer) role. They said this role can grow to full-time but for now its part time. They also said it can quickly grow to 30-40hr/week. The salary is $40/hr.

The thing is I have an interview with another design agency(Company B)’s design lead in a few days for internship. This company is in NYC and its bigger than Company A and works with big companies like adidas etc. I want to work here if I get a job.

Should I say to Company A that I am doing interview with other company so I might have to leave in a month if I get the job? Company A needs designer fast. They want me to start working in 1-2days. But the internship with Company B is starting on early September.

But its hard for me to say no to Company A since this was first offer i ever got as a paid ux designer role and I don’t want to lose the opportunity. What do you think? What should I consider to make the best choice? 😥
