ESO Pillar of Nirn Nerf & Alternative DPS Sets in Update 40

Is there any non-trial set to pair with Depth that you recommend for magicka build?

So sick of so many sets being useless and everyone and their mother using pillar for all builds. Just want more alternatives.

Enough Nerf for me tired of grinding sets instead playing game leaving eso this game becoming grinding game good luck for them who gonna grind new sets...

Pillar is still meta next patch still hardest hitting set not much change and aegis wouldn’t change much

What should a magica ranged character use instead of nirn?

It's about time that something has changed for Pillar of Nirn. While I think the better course of action is to buff every other Sets to be on par with Pillar of Nirn, I think this is more healthy due to it bringing more build diversity, which sadly, ESO really needs that.
Other Sets I would recommend are:
Deadly Strikes (Templar and Arcanist, or any builds that heavily relies on DoTs)
Azureblight Reaper
Venomous Smite
Gryphon's Reprisal
Berserking Warrior
Z'en's Redress
Morag Tong
Coral Riptide
Ansuul's Torment

Remember to research other potential good sets, in case more drastic changes happens. I'm glad that for 4 years, my Stamina Templar setup always ran Deadly Strike, Relequien, and Selene, and I hit 108k with him to this day.
