Same last name and it is like watching Bob Ross very knowledgeable and calm almost like the asmr stuff pop’s teaching transmission rebuild a nice little spring here and scotch bright that little burr lil grease over here 😂
ОтветитьThe Bob Ross Jack of all trades.
ОтветитьTransGo comes to the rescue. I have been using them for 42 years.
ОтветитьEvery time I see a JR/Dad video I always hope he gets asked to hold the flashlight and then gets yelled at. 😂
ОтветитьLove it when you have your dad on the channel
ОтветитьThat toothpick commands respect!
ОтветитьWhen your Dad can’t figure it out or find the reference you know it is unobtainable.
ОтветитьDoes the guy even still have the truck? Or is Ross doing this Because It’s There, like a mountain climber?
ОтветитьWho else has projects sitting around that long ? I have a couple
ОтветитьWatchJR'sDad videos are the best.
ОтветитьWait… has the truck it came out of been sitting for years waiting in the transmission??
ОтветитьI enjoy when your Dad is in the videos smart man..
ОтветитьIt would probably be fun if you helped your dad organize his shop! I see a motorcycle and who knows what else in in there! I had NO idea what all went in a transmission! I would never be able to rebuild one; I'm to scatterbrained. I could not remember what part went where! Lastly; your poor brother! Why did you have to rat him out? "My brother" busted 5 transmissions! Did your sisters ever get in trouble for anything?
ОтветитьWhat was the truck doing for the last 8 years? I missed that part of the story...
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your Father on the channel. Shows such patience and a wealth of knowledge.
ОтветитьYour dad has forgotten more than all of us combined actually know. The man is a national treasure.
ОтветитьNo year-ending complete without a Ross junior and senior team-up! Brings back so many fond memories of my own dad 🙏
ОтветитьThat is very interesting watching Papa Ross rebuild that transmission. What hasn't he fixed over the years?
ОтветитьI see JR’s Dad in the thumbnail and it’s an immediate watch! That man’s knowledge and ability to pass it on is incredible.
ОтветитьKeep this vid for educational content
ОтветитьCoolest Dad Ever award!
Ответитьjr,you're dad is incredibly smart, learn as much as you can from this wonderful man.He is truly a blessing.
ОтветитьI don't think 4l60e are that bad but motors started making more power with the ls and such i mean im sure a like 350 turbo wouldn't last any longer behind a 5.3l
ОтветитьNot gonna lie. I’m 17 seconds in and already liked the video because I saw your pops. He reminds me a lot of mine who I gotta go see next week so I know the video is gonna be fire!
ОтветитьI love episodes with your dad in them
ОтветитьThese are notorious for failing because of the tiny torque converter they use with that tiny engine.
Ответить...my brain hurts.
ОтветитьJR's dad is full of knowledge. The best moment though will always be when he out muscled JR when cranking that old tractor over.
ОтветитьYour Dad's a National Treasure.
ОтветитьI love when JR has his dad on. Man explains things the way I can understand. Reminds me of being in HS auto shop back in the 90s.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьMan! I could watch you and your dad build and shoot the breeze all night! Reminds me of my time with my son building and talking life together.
ОтветитьBeen rebuilding transmissions for a little while now. Started with 4l60es from 93 - 94 due to my love of square body S-10s and Blazers. Then went into later 4l60es, now I'm in the middle of 6 and 8 speeds. LOVE this content and wish for more please!
ОтветитьNice to see your dad in the mix!👍🏼👍🏼
Ответить4L60 is by far not the worst transmission. Your GFs Ford power “shit” is the worst!!!
ОтветитьI'm afraid he's going to swallow that toothpick.
ОтветитьThis brings me back to when I had a few 3rd Geb Camaros in the early 2000s. Not the strongest transmissions, but there were company’s that could beef these up to handle more power. People liked them for hot rods combined with a SBC. Before everyone was LS swapping everything
ОтветитьThe natural look of excitment and joy of finding the missing parts made my day. 😊
ОтветитьI had a 78 cutlass. There were alot pf variations from 78 to around 80, I'd suppose. Told by a eceptionally observant parts girl. Really exceptional.
ОтветитьWow, Mr. Ross has some skills. Makes it look easy. Interesting to watch how a transmission goes together.
ОтветитьHe's brilliant.
ОтветитьI had a 4L60E in my 2012 chevy colorado. So at least until 2012.
ОтветитьFlashing back to when I "helped" almost wiped out an entire racing school fleet by not securing the tranny fill plugs properly. This video is so many layers deeper than I have ever seen. Always a bonus to see him puttering away at super complicated things!
ОтветитьJohn what I was thinking was as I'm watching your father explain these thousands on or off the movements of the different oil measurements and had only thousands off if you could talk your dad in the building one of these that you know be used in an LS swap bulletproof engine and transmission setup pretty much every GM vehicle. Now I'm being serious now Kevin Costner Field of dreams if you build it they will come one type of transmission and universal LS swap.
ОтветитьSo this is what we do on Christmas Day at the Ross house I like it Pharrell John thank you
ОтветитьWhat was that motorcycle hiding behind you under the pile of stuff?
ОтветитьYour dad is a man of many talents!
ОтветитьIt's a joy to watch you and your Dad work together. Cheers JR!
ОтветитьI watch all your videos, but the best are with your dad!,,🎉
ОтветитьWikipedia says the 4L60E ran from 1992-2013 😂
