2024’s Celebrity Deaths | Year In Memoriam

This was a lovely tribute/ remembrance to those who died this year. There are too many for me to mention, individually. I will say that I was shocked upon hearing Tony Todd's, passing. He was on of my favorite horror/ character actors. RIP 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

The first black actor to win an Oscar was the heavy set maid in gone with the wind. Was not allowed to sit with the other actors from that movie

I thought the TV said it was Bryant Gumbal that died not Greg Gumbal...now I am totally confused cause on NFL news they said it was Bryant Gumble too.

Condolences To All Family Member's 🌹

There are so many amazing and talented people who I will forever miss growing up watching them. I still can't believe Dame Maggie Smith has passed this year. I first saw her in the original Clash of the Titans in the 80s as Goddess Thetis, then in The Secret Garden (early 90s) and the Harry Potter series. And she still seemed as young and looked as young as she did back then (80s). She will forever be one of my favorite actresses of all time. And I can't believe Olivia Hussey is gone as well. I will always remember her in the mini-series It (with the amazing Tim Curry as Pennywise). And she will always be Juliet to me with Leonard Whiting as Romeo. I'll watch that version over every other version of that story that has been made.

Dr.Ruth died the same day as my mom. July 12

Regardless how important in your 80,90 or 100 years, within a year, nobody would remember you. Only one man we remember after 2024 years, and we celebrate every year on the 25th of December.

Many of those were in the category 'They were still alive?' or 'Oh no, I didn't know they died'

Wow! We're already halfway through January & I'm just now getting around to watching the 2024 year in review. We lost so many people in 2024 but the one that shocked me the most was Toby Keith especially after hearing a positive progress report on his treatments near the end of 2023. I found out a month or two after his passing that he made the decision to stop his cancer treatments
