How to Prevent Bruising from Botox and Filler- DO THIS Before you get Facial Injections

Love Arnica! It definitely helps. Always regret not taking it before injections.

Here is suggestions;
1. Make sure your injections are done by a real professional, a doctor with an official license of practice
2. After the injections are done you can put fresh pads (not ice directly) on the place you were injected for few minutes
3. If you have small bruses, the solution is to put a good concealer to hidden them. They are going to be there only 2-3 days. The best concealer to do so is "Dermablend". Lancôme is doing good one to.
That's it!
If nobody is telling you that, they are not doing that medical work for enough time in these specific injections.

I use topical arnica but have never used it. I avoid nsaids .. recently had lumi eyes and the bruises lasted! Might try arnica orally before my next appointment. Although I might not get around to it as usual 😅. Thanks for an informative video

I use it every time I get dysport and volume and rarely bruise. I bruise very easy on the rest of the body so it’s not uncommon I see bruises. Arnica does help speed up the healing!!

I'm keen to do a course of Sculptra. I'm 60 years old but I look quite a bit younger than my age, possibly also because I'm overweight. I still have 16 kg to lose. Is it advisable to first lose the weight or can I start Sculptra already while losing weight gradually? (I don't want to wait much longer to start Sculptra since we know that it's better to start before the damage becomes so severe that surgery remains the only option) but I also don't want to lose weight too fast just to start Sculptra. That would be counter - productive.

I am major major sweller and bruiser but I took it a few days (along with Bromelain) before both my lip blushing and lip filler and wow the results were night and day. I barely felt my lip fillers tbh and minimally swelled/bruised. Within 3 days, including a 22 hr flight while taking the Arnica for recovery, most of the bruising and swelling is gone -- MIRACLE product. Highly recommend.

If you have filler, and you want to stop the filler and go the scuptra route, do you need to have all your filler dissolved first?

I have always taken arnica along with some other supplements before my Sculptra injections but i still bruise. I guess we're all different .

I take it orally and apply it topically before an appointment. I apply it topically on areas to he injected and even apply it to my face for my drive to the appointment. I never bruise. Also avoid alcohol especially red wine. Great video. I use to work in plastic surgery and that was out protocol. Arinca and Bromelian. Thank you for your very informative videos.

I bruise almost everytime. I have porcelain white skin, and bruising shows. I have arnica pellets, so will follow your advice and take it about 3-4 prior. About your sculptra decade thing: I am not young but I look ageless due my sun protected skin and genes, and good nutrition. I also have been the same weight all of my adulthood. I have no children. My injector was happy with only vial of Sculptra on my face as I do not have major sagging or volume loss, and I have no crows feet. Well, I insisted of the second. Is that enough? My beauty regime consists of botox every 7-8 months and PDO threads. I took Sculptra for the first time in November 2023 and my second in January 2024. Early days still, but I think I look like a teenager with my cheeks.

I bruise always...10 days to heal a bruise.
Arnica makes me so nauseous so I just deal with bruising.

The bruises lingered over a month (!) on my face (I have a porcelain skin and my capillaries are placed superficially). And it was a first time after over 15'th treatments I got with fillers, stimulators, mesotherapy, RPF etc. Thank you for the advice, I'll try it out.

I had BOTOX on crows feet and both eyes ended up with huge bruises ! The worst part was that they took 4 months to go away !!! It looked horrible and i never had Them so Big and Long ever . Going to get BOTOX monday again . Wish me luck 😂

I just had an upper blepharoplasty 2 weeks ago. I’ve been taking arnica and using ice, etc. I still have significant dark bruises under my eyes. I appreciate the tutorials on the coverups. I wish you had linked the products though.

I tried arnica for 5 days prior and bruised pretty badly

I had Arnicare a couple days before injection but still got bad bruises;;;

I start taking Arnica 5 days before injections (and continue for a week after). Generally it helps except the most recent time. I look like I was in a fight!

is arnica safe to take if I am allergic to NSAIDS and aspirin?

I'm glad these products are working for others I always take arnica and bromelin never works for me. A little less bleeding but still pretty bad bruising but I'm prone to bruising. Def try them!

I stop the omega 3 oil a week before. My main problem is not the brushing, it is the post inflammatory pigmentation that stays in forever. I mean forever.
