This I rig… does it have en be an I rig?
ОтветитьI have a quarter inch to aux adapter. I also have a 2 aux chord to 1 aux chord adapter. I’ve tried to connect them to my ipad but it keeps trying to use the ipad mic as well as the aux input. Is there a way to turn off the input through the mic?
ОтветитьPlugging head phones into the iRig, will you be able to hear/monitor the other tracks while recording the guitar track?
ОтветитьWould this work with connecting to a learning app like simply guitar as well?
ОтветитьThank you! Just what I was looking for 👌

ОтветитьMy son has an iPhone with GarageBand and we connected my Focusrite interface with his Lightning-USB adapter to it. We got about 30 seconds of guitar with amp plugin presets working, and then it was like the iPhone suddenly rejected all amp tones and wouldn't work again. When unplugging the USB connection, GB registered input with the phone mic (got a signal, working fine),then plugged the USB back in and GB registered the external device input on the screen but still wouldn't give any amp plugin sounds when trying presets. Any idea what happened?

ОтветитьThank you for your help l had the older i rig but just ordered the i rig had 2 anyway thank you for the videos Allan in the UK
ОтветитьMaybe you need a TRS adapter?
I think it’s like needing a three ring that the old iphones had to have and is why you couldn’t get audio out of a two ring jack. It needed that third mic out for the phone to recognize it and put out audio. I’m not sure tho!
I bet it doesn’t sound near as good as what you’re already using. Thanks for the vid!
