Been bothering for days now and I need to state this: this video isn't it Rev. Not only did you come off sounding like a elitist anime fan (which I didn't even know was a thing, nor remotely possible) by calling this guy a 'tourist anime fan' but you did a poor job explaining - what - made this such a weird event in the western side of the anime community.

I watched that song with no lyrics beside the ones that are part of the video, and my japanese isn't really all that good, but I did catch up on the slightly more than moderate teasing.
I was kind of horrified at the english translation, till I've seen that the one Rev used makes it a LOT more modest meaning that the translation I read which was one of the top selections is deliberately more harsh, using direct language(which the actual lyrics don't use due to how japanese works as a language), and a more vulgar and impolite choice of words.
