If the previous western backed regime in Afghanistan under the guise of "democracy" had NOT "pioneered" the art of sexual expoloitation of women in schools and work places - perhaps today the Taliban would not have been forced to take this temporary drastic measure. Afghanistan's education system, like its other institutions during the 20 years of occupation - had been turned into sexual exploitation centers (i.e. hiring, firing, grades in school, promotion & demotion at work revolved around sexual favors). In this respect, Conservative Afghanistan had truly been turned into a mini West in the heart of Asia by the western occupiers. (And yes - some Afghans had welcomed that cultural change).

In order to undo the damage caused by the 20 yrs of Western occupation (military and cultural) - particularly where women in Afghanistan can once more SAFELY and with respect and dignity go to schools and workplaces, it will take another 20 yrs - at minimum.

To cultural imperialists:
Let people live the way they want to live. Respect the cultural values of others. Don't impose. And, please, don't turn everything into a bs political issue because it serves your nefarious agenda.

Second thing I want to point out for those who have something to say in regards to women’s schools. Alhamdulilah, the public high schools have reopened across Afghanistan, the new government rearranged the curriculum and added Islamic education.

Slowly but surely, everything will get better and Afghanistan will give EVERYONE there rights under the basis of SHARIAH only.
