Hello!! I'm new to curling hair. I'd like to ask, what product/wax did you use before applying the curling tools? I need to do it on curling the end of my wig. Hoping for a response. Thank you.

So, Brad, thank you 💯 for doing this! I've already spent so much money trying to find the perfect wet set curl solution. BUT! My hair is Fine AF. Is that velcro gonna gonna cause lots of breakage??

I've always braided my hair because I love the subtle waves. Just got the tik tok one and excited to see what I look like with those type of curls instead of my braids.

My go-to heatless curls for years has been a soft satin headband(or better yet a soft satin hankie/scarf) worn around the crown of my head. Start at the front with a small section of hair, adding more as you wrap toward the back then secure with satin scrunchies. Super comfy to sleep in n it gives great voluminous curls in the morning

I also use a hankerchief, drape it down both sides of my head(similar to the tiktok rod method) n instead of simply wrapping, i braid small sections around the hankie n wake up with tighter curls than simply wrapping. Also super comfy to sleep in

I have thick strands, a lot of hair, and long. I will have to get one-third of that section so there is no way I'm going to take the time to do that. I will choose the one that takes less time. Also heavy frizzy so I might have to straighten first and spray water after I apply.

Love watching your videos, but this one got my panties in a knot! 😟 I don’t know if you actually read every comment, but as a girl with crazy fine straight hair, that refuses to hold a curl, I have used every curler you showed, plus one! (Spike curlers, famous with traditional Irish step dancers-amazing curls, bad for the hair, like many of your choices)
As an FYI, most velcro curlers need to be slept on overnight in order to get the curl. Velcro rollers are a disaster, they are uncomfortable and snarl the hair easily. The cute tube curlers are super damaging to fragile hair, you have to pull hair through the plastic tube… awful to sleep in. they do make nice curls, but rip,out so much hair in the process it made me really sad. 😢
Foam traditional curlers give good consistent results, always a winner. The pillow curlers you used are actually super comfortable to sleep in, and make great curls. They are my #2 go-to overnight curlers. The sock method is akin to the rag method, casual curls with different sizes. They are ok. Socks make super bug fluffy curls, rag pieces make crazy tight curls.
Pin curls I use Bobby pins, make ok curls, but takes so much time to do a full head of hair and gives inconsistent results.
Your favorite wrap around curl thing only works with long hair. Anyone with shoulder length hair is screwed, not enough hair to stay in. Braids are great but secure the ends with a foam roller so you get a nice curl at the end and not straight ends, and also Bantu knots make great curls as well.
Just my humble opinions as a life long wearer of curlers. (Literally- my has pictures of me as a 3 year old with pink foam curlers in my hair!!)

If you wrap the hair around the sock (one on each side) kind of like a french braid taking a little more each time all the way down it looks great. When he tied the sock i laughed so hard

I have long hair and I love the rag curl. I have found using a scrunchy and wrapping hair sections around scrunchy and securing with large Bobby pin. Let dry, remove and waa laa. Beautiful curls.
