I have been using the Harbor Freight Chock Blocks for years, great product and well priced. My socket set is impact 6 point so I can use my rechargeable impact wrench when needed
Ответитьplastic milk crate works great for propane bottles
ОтветитьThanks for your input.
ОтветитьI’ve always just used plastic wrap and a small rubber band to keep my caulk fresh and it’s worked well for me for years now, even through below freezing and 115+ days in the high desert
ОтветитьThat bright flashlight is it the Chargable with Android cable.
ОтветитьSometimes Harbor Freight stuff is really well made but heavy, overbuilt. I have the 1000# hydraulic table to load the generator in th truck. It's a beast, but it's lasted years. Same with the floor jacks.
ОтветитьI like their gloves. The black Hardy Performance gloves. They're about $6 but I've gotten them free sometimes. Keep a pair or two for dealing with the hitch or blocks under the jacks, etc.
ОтветитьGood list. Never been a fan of Horror Fright and had more than my fair share of crap that worked once then the next time....
Not a fan of HF but thanks for the video.
Great video. Love your editing overlapping your audio onto the next video scene.
Oh, and yeah, the content is great too!! LOL
I hate the chemical smells in Harbor Freight but I 've gotten great replacement parts there like cart and hand truck wheels and their power tools are comparable to other low end store brands but often much cheaper.
ОтветитьJust hold down the button for 5sec on flashlight to shut off an not cycle through modes
ОтветитьI like your channel
ОтветитьI alway wait to the end because outtakes are Hilarious and we all make mistake, glad your human too!
ОтветитьHaven't even begun with the RVlife gear available at HF
ОтветитьPut alittle Vaseline on the upper part of the caulk saver. The Vaseline keeps air/moisture out. I just use a bolt and Vaseline and it works wonders.
ОтветитьThanks. I need to get over and pick up a few things from HARBOR FREIGHT.
ОтветитьDon't forget to register your email address to get those coupons
ОтветитьThe quantom light is awesome. Ive ownerd a few over the years
ОтветитьAlso ridgid cordless power tools have a lifetime warranty on parts labor and service great for cordless lights fans and a 1/2” impact
ОтветитьBig stretch caulk will still be stretchy 30 yrs from now
ОтветитьAlso if you are close to huge lake or camping area the Walmart will have a ton of RV stuff.
ОтветитьI have light like that but it also goes to a red strobe and if you are broke down on a little road so with the magnet so you can put in most places and I have diffrent one that puts out the sos signal.
ОтветитьHave had 4 of those rubber chocks for years and they are the greatest. My slide is exactly 36" so I use a wooden yardstick (cheap at the Home Depot) to measure the clearance when arriving at the site. It also doubles as a easy way to unfold the side rubber seals on the slideouts that didn't fold out after being fully extended.
ОтветитьHarbor freight has the best wheel chocks in the country, and I love their magnetic flash lights. Plus I own the 9000 watt predator generator and the 3500 watt predator power inverter. Both outstanding units. I’ve them both to the test.
ОтветитьLove the measuring tape idea! Going to implement asap. Thanks!
ОтветитьThe 1/2 inch ratcheting breaker wrench is what I use on lug nuts. Im commercial rv transporter , it usually lasts 1yr - Yr and a 1/2 , breaks and I get another, though this time I bought straight long 1/2 inch breaker of One level up quality, so when the stupid cheap one breaks again , I have a spare on the side. It always breaks when Im hooking up my next camper lol
ОтветитьStrapping down propane tanks? Use ratchet straps. Bungee cords will not hold a tank on hard bumps and sudden stops.
🤙🇺🇸
You make excellent videos. Are you solo’ing your channel? Who’s your camera’person? Where is your lovely wife co-partner side kick?
ОтветитьThanks Jared/Commenters for your ideas. Some products I like but didn't see mentioned, with prices as best memory serves.....
# Zip ties for cheap
# collapsing orange safety cone <$9
# Conspicuity Tape (red/white reflector tape) 10-pack <$7
# D-ring, 2-screw hole tie-downs, 2-pack <$4
# socket-to-drill driver converters, 3- size pack, <$6
# Quinn multi-screwdriver with blade/phillips/torx/square bits <$10
# made in USA American flag/pole ( what a concept!), or replacement flag, sewn
# ratchet and friction straps
# hatchet w/ hickory handle! $<15... nice quality; some wood-whittling will make it just right
# multi-head pop rivet tool and rivets galore
Thanks again for the ideas.
Please don't transport propane tanks using bungee cords. It isn't safe. Use a ratchet strap
ОтветитьUse a milk crate for your propane tank they work real good much better than a bungee I guess you could use the bungee to tie the milk crate maybe
ОтветитьTell you my golden fleece at Harbor Freight: they used to sell magnificent, inexpensive sun covers for tires on your parked RV. They covered the tread and outside face of the tire with tough, genuine light canvas, and had a tight, springy fiberglass (?) rod sewn into the rear seam to hug your tires. I've had mine for over 25 years -- way more durable than commercial vinyl ones, for a chicken-feed price. Sadly, HF replaced them with flimsy cloth models, with a feeble hoop that won't stay on in a light breeze. Whenever they ask me for comments on how they are doing, I ask them to bring back a product similar to the old ones. I'd love it if other RVers would, too!
ОтветитьHarbor freight makes an amazing rechargeable flashlight
ОтветитьAnother must have at Harbor Freight would be a head mounted flashlight. Great for getting light where you're working and be hands free as well.
ОтветитьAnd their stuff is made by China
ОтветитьBy my count, the wheel chocks were the ONLY item that related to RV life. Everything else would apply to any home workshop. Not the most informational or insightful video I have ever seen about RV life.
ОтветитьChina thanks you for supporting their takeover of America. One Harbor Freight purchase at a time.
Wake up!
Fail 👎🏼
Really enjoyed your little tidbit helpers. Stay Safe and Make Memories
ОтветитьThat skateboard tape is great stuff, keep it around and you might need it again one day 😊
ОтветитьIf you are a harbor freight inside track member they will give you flashlights that same tape measure, bungy cords, blue shop towels, a phone charger for free. Have to be an inside track member. It's worth it.
ОтветитьGreat vid
Ответить"Always in the same place" does not register with my wife.
"Out of sight in the nearest compartment" is more like it.
First time viewer of your channel, I recognize the harbor freight you were at and it caught my eye. My grand parents were full time RVers before they passed. They hit all 49 driveable states including Alaska. You’ve earned a subscription from me for bringing back some fond memories I’d not thought about in some years. Look forward to learning more about your content.
Ответить😂. I use a nice long twig from a 🌳 for caulking. Seems to be lasting...
ОтветитьBe careful. They charge a 50$ restocking fee on generators. Also get every drop of fuel out.
ОтветитьI am SO glad I found this video and I found it in time to take advantage of a 3-day sale! I was able to snag 4 tarps, 100-pc zip ties and a new/better flashlight all for $24!!
ОтветитьHarbor freight has different classes of tools. My best deal was the tool chest top and bottom it was half price of a craftsman bottom.
ОтветитьHarbor Freight used to be pretty much overseas junk. Not so much any more. I've got the same wheel chocks you showed and I've got a couple of other things that have worked fairly well including some of their really cheap battery maintainers. Keep the good stuff coming.
ОтветитьGreat vid, thanx.
ОтветитьGreat information
