This is Why i LOVE Sekiro

I hope that one day Fromsoft games will feature actual AI instead of just following a script that the player has to adjust to like a dance. It doesn't really give me "Good player" vibes, rather "I can do exactly what others tell me" vibes which is a shame because I've always thought that Fromsoft games are some of the most beautifully haunting games around with intriguing stories and artwork.

I played this game 5 times thru. Played only this game for months. Can’t believe I initially didn’t like it because I thought it was “too hard”. Definitely top 3 games OAT imo

That's exactly why I hate Sekiro 🤦 it's ridiculous. Am I suppose to perfectly parry EVERY attack? In normal soulsborne parrying is an extra feature which gives you extra reward. Here the game excepts you to do it casually for each attack. I dropped Sekiro not because of some boss, but because of a roof guys. They are absolutely unbeatable. Just a common enemies that you can't beat because they are just ridiculously spamming you with attacks that you suppose to perfectly deflect. I can't level up, I can't cheese, I can't "get gud" (because it's humanly impossible). Common enemies in Sekiro is 10x harder than ANY boss in any other soulsborne game. It's not challenging and fun anymore, it's simply confusing.

Once sekiroa combat clicked with me I realized that this game is one of a kind and there is nothing at all similar to it in terms of gameplay. (Don't you ever say dark souls) the only thing this game has in common with Dark Souls or Elden Ring is you use R1 to attack and L1 to block. This games combat is so different that it's not even comparable to dark souls. I want more Sekiro style combat. A game that demands perfection. A game that engraves the fantasy of swordfighting supernatural opponents just as well as this game isn't even real. I am so glad Sekiro exists but I wish there was more like it.

Sekiro should be studied. Seriously. It is a test of skill, patience, and determination. It teaches you that if you are willing to learn and not give up, you can become extraordinary. You could say that about anything sure, but no game comes close to training you in those aspects like sekiro.

I can't really play games anymore. Cooking brings me more joy than gaming has given me in the last couple years. Though games like Sekiro will always keep me coming back. Playing some music and slaying Ashina soldiers single-handedly will never not be fun. Elden Ring is great too, but I just get too overwhelmed. Everything about Sekiro just pulls me in. Best From Software game by far, though will a close second being Dark Souls 3.

I finish the game and i never see this boss

You barely used 1 prosthetic tool and didn't use combat arts at all. You played perfectly but that was a very boring way to fight in such a fun game. You have PC mods so you could be using the Weapon Wheel mod to unlock the game's true potential.

Why does your monk posture bar stops decreasing?

my problem with this game is how unlinear it is. at least elden ring has a map and enemies you can defeat, sekiro leads you nowhere and puts you up against insanely hard samurai. can't get past the first 5 hours and I've beaten every DS game and elden ring ..

Best combat mechanics ever made! I wish there were way more bosses and way less normal soldiers.

bruh I once got Shura lvls of swag in this game like you, then stopped playing for 2 years came back recently just to die to a General Miniboss 10 times lol. You gotta get used to the Fromsoft input delay again. I'm enjoying giving Emma all my seeds though

I’m so close to being done with sekiro, just gotta get the purification ending, beat prime owl, the demon of hatred, then do the gauntlet, get the shura drip, and replay the game enough times that I’m skilled enough to call myself a master. Easy right?

I tried to play this game for like a WEEK when it first came out!...quickly realized i'm not about that life!....but it IS a beautiful game!

This is my first Souls game, currently playing. The first... twelve hours were rage inducing. I went full Red Eye(I actually am susceptible to fire damage irl. Crazy!)

The community was right, you really do improve, and once you do it's magical how badass this game makes you feel. I don't know if I've ever been more satisfied improving in a game than I am while playing this. Spent probably 30 lives and three hours trying to beat Genichiro. Left the game alone for a week(maybe two). Came back, did some exploring, returned to Genichiro, beat him in one try. ... It was like going Ultra Instinct unexpectedly, and then going back to garbage mode re-fighting his memory. Now, it clicks. Less panic block spam, and finally deciphering a red thrust from a red swipe in an instant.

Fantastic game. Might be best melee combat ever. Idk if it's a 10/10, but it feels like it to me(now).
