Ответитьpassing fundamental techniques is very nice . do u keep any online class for this sir . let me know
ОтветитьGreat, concise, clear instructions WITH demos! I've seen coaches that all about correction but can't demonstrate. You have great clinic with both aspects: correction & demonstration!
ОтветитьThese drone shots are sweet!
ОтветитьHe get so many things correct and or almost correct and then he also doesn’t do what he says is important. To start with he should start by doing a simple 30 second dominate eye test. Then you will know how to tweak things so the athlete can actually see the ball, and other things, accurately. He said to use a stagger when passing. This is correct, but other than the few times he demos the stagger, he never uses a stagger again! When he talks about movement to pass he is almost always talking about side it side movement, he never talks about the moving forward or backward. Where do most players get beat, well statistics will tell you moving forward or backward is just over 56% of the time so less than 40% of the time movement is his main focus is on. This forward movement comes from a stagger just like he said, but he didn’t train and remind his campers to pass that way throughout the session. The girl in full black clothes does the stagger correctly. He said balance in the beginning and the end of movements. Exactly correct. He doesn’t practice what he preaches and this was noticed in his pre-start for hitting and at the point of the pass. He just uses his natural exceptionally good inner balance to make up the difference. Many players don’t have that.He hasn’t mentioned hip rotation when hitting, leading with the elbow (he does this in his swing), and he doesn’t say how hip rotation would help with his landing and demo what a good landing looks like. I am constantly asked where to find good, complete videos of volleyball skills this guy gets a lot of things right. With the adjustments I have listed, these would be excellent.
ОтветитьSuper training mister
ОтветитьSoy de argentina y me encanta tu forma de enseñar. No sé inglés pero tus gestos y ejemplos en movimiento me ayudan muchísimo a entender ❤
ОтветитьHow many of these do you run every year?
ОтветитьWhere do you conduct this adult volleyball camp?
ОтветитьThanks for this video Coach Donny!
ОтветитьWhy am I watching this with 15 years of volleyball? 😂😅
Ответитьbroo you pumping quality content nonstop this year! i loved your old videos aswell but this is fire!
ОтветитьPerfect video to watch on sunday 👍🏽
ОтветитьI love that you are emphasizing the need to continue to work on the basics/fundamentals of volleyball no matter what level you play at. I coach u18 girls and as much as I LOVE teaching them new and exciting things, they sometimes forget that the basics are extremely important as well!
Ps: I love that you said that hitting was everyone’s least favourite thing to do at the end 😂😂. To be honest, I’m a libero and I don’t enjoy hitting that much (maybe because it shows just how short I really am and wrecks my confidence lol)
Great video!
ОтветитьAre you guys doing advanced player clinics? And any chance you will be at NY any time this year?
ОтветитьIt is great that you are teaching volleyball to adults as well! Everybody deserves a chance to learn!
Ответитьi've only recently started playing and these videos have helped me tremendously but I've noticed my right shoulder gets a lot of pain and is not as flexible as my left shoulder (am a right hand hitter) and i feel my spikes are being hindered by this and am not making progress as I always circle my shoulder to spike could we maybe get a tutorial how to get more flexible shoulders and strengthen this area or any tips how to develop muscle memory to spike correctly thank you
Ответитьthis was a great video! for those that arent able to go and participate, this was super neat to see. and we can practice the tips you gave on our own as well. Thanks coach!
ОтветитьEchoes of the original coach Donny tutorials, drilling those fundamentals. So nostalgic.
Ответитьthank you so much for this coach!
ОтветитьThose sweatpants are fire
ОтветитьI disagree with passing with only arm motions. You could not expect a regular nonathletic player to master passing skill only with their arms, they could never master it. They need to learn to use both. I have been playing and coaching for 36 years.
ОтветитьI really appreciate that the coaching us focused and clear, and you also trust people to tailor it to their ability level. I've had bad experiences with martial arts etc where the coach would expect the exact same from everyone and not make any allowance for different experience it body type
ОтветитьLove the camera angle. Are you doing that with a drone?
ОтветитьPlease come to Charlotte, NC and conduct this camp!! We don't have anyone doin this here!! I have been trying to find someone like you who coaches adults as well
Ответитьthank you coach im considering joining a indoor league this year
ОтветитьVery great pointers I'm going to try to use!
