I have redness, but no bumps....? I haven't been diagnosed with rosacea, though my Derm doc says the redness will never go away. I'm very self-conscious about it.
ОтветитьI have rosacea and serrboheic dermatitis. I stopped treatment decades ago because the tx for the rosacea aggravated the SD and the tx for the SD aggravated the rosacea. The medicines and ointments cost $120 per month out of pocket AFTER insurance (this was 25 years ago) and made me look and feel worse. I gave up.
ОтветитьWho the hell are you? You are one amazing beautiful dr has lots of great supporters ❤❤❤
Ответитьi have a lot of redness but no bumps or acne on my cheeks, its like a perma blush i dont want. i used to have perfect peaches and cream complection many years ago i wish to get back to that, what should i use?
ОтветитьOh shit... I'm black and legit did not know what rosaecea looked liked on melaninated skin...
ОтветитьI needed to see this video 10 years ago😂
ОтветитьWell…shit
ОтветитьA derm office just told me I have rosacea. So I have been watching your rosacea content and am glad I see my eye doctor next week to ask if my dry eye might be connected.
No acne, just cheeks on fire. Trying low dose antibiotics for the inflammation and a tube of Epionce Lytic TX. Hoping it all helps as do not want lasers. Any alternative[s] to the Epionce? It’s not the smell … it’s sticker shock.
Thank you for such great content.
Thats exactly what happened to me so I finally got diagnosed last year and my skin has been so much better
ОтветитьAzelaic Acid and knowing what can trigger flare ups - spicy food , booze and Sun. Butt Paste too !
ОтветитьOh wow those little pink almost skin toned pustules look like exactly what I have. And they never pop or itch or change much but they do get inflamed when I use a niacinimide thats too strong or any other irritant
ОтветитьLove her content ❤❤❤
Def Has helped my girl and I since I’ve started following. I have seen the red skin and ppl will say it’s acne.
Ive tried Metronidazole, azelaic acid and niacinamide. None have helped unfortunately
ОтветитьThank youuuuu for putting an example with darker skin! ❤
ОтветитьI have been told that I have rosacea and I'm pretty sure that his diagnosis was wrong 😅
ОтветитьI know I have rosacea - demodex rosacea, to be exact - but I have no insurance and don't know what I can do to treat it OTC. It's awful, especially as I am very pale.
ОтветитьSo what would you suggest as treatment?
ОтветитьI'm melanated but i always thought that its acne and ive been told its acne, this is something worth learning about
ОтветитьShoot i think i may have it
ОтветитьI have suffered for so many years thinking it was acne. I used proactive for the 3rd time in my 30s and it became worse. I couldn’t use antibiotics because of my stomach issues. I hate rosacea, I hate my forever blochy skin. At least the bumps are gone now as I constantly apply cetaphil every time I wash my face. But I still have the redness and large pores on the cheeks and the T zone. Now I have wrinkles too😢😢😢
ОтветитьAnd then there's me, who has both
ОтветитьSoolantra
ОтветитьThanks for clearly showing rosacea on melanated skin ❤
ОтветитьI stopped having acne at 25 and got rosacea, great now tell me how to get rid of it
ОтветитьI had Rosacea until I stopped ruining my skin barrier.
ОтветитьThank you. I will go see a dermatologist and ask about it because I've been having these bumps on my face. I always thought it was a white person condition
ОтветитьAnd then what????
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on people that may just naturally have very red cheeks like they have blush on? I happen to be like that and I can't tell you how often growing up I was told I might have rosacea when my skin was clear (no puffiness, no acne, no bumps, nada) and I even went on to try "treating" it which then caused a breakout and inflammation as my skin is also naturally sensitive due to allergies😅 as I've gotten older the redness has calmed to a more pink blush but it's still obvious enough that I don't bother wearing blush😂
ОтветитьWhen I used a prescription sulphur medicine on my face to treat Roseacia (sp?) it made me breakout like I was a teenager again (I'm 55) I'm wondering if I should have stopped using it!? Would I be best served to just let the breakouts happen to pull out toxins in my skin? Thank you Doctor I love your posts❤!
ОтветитьI think I have rosacea😮
ОтветитьSo what can I do that helps with acne but doesn’t upset the rosecea?
ОтветитьThank you for showing differences between rosacea and acne looks like. Almost close where i need help in.
ОтветитьI do have rosacea, it runs in my family. But my sister had both cystic acne and rosacea, poor girl had to go on experimental medication it got so bad. I get three or four zits a month during a specific time of my cycle, genetics are wild.
Ответитьsulfur helps with acne and rosacea so its a win for me😂
ОтветитьSo what should I do if I have rosacea
ОтветитьCan this happen to younger children around 11?
ОтветитьIm not entirely sure if mine is rosacea, but I just have red cheeks all the time :/
ОтветитьHow we can treat rosecea?
ОтветитьI'm treating my "acne" for years and years now and it does nothing for my skin.. I now know I definitely have rosacea..
ОтветитьQuick question, do you have an office or patients. I just need an overall new skincare routine and advice on how to get rid of dark spots and acne scars, btw I have oily skin. Where can I get a consultation with you.
ОтветитьI think I just realized I have rosacea
ОтветитьI have rosacea and caratosis pallaris so no matter what i do i make one of them worse while simultaneously making the other better😂
ОтветитьI have a strong inkling I have rosacea especially because these pustules recently started apearing, I'm about to turn 30, my skin is pretty sensitive, my Mom has it, and I'm the pinkest person I know. Trouble is I know that I need to see a derm but my primary cancelled my last two appointments without warning (after driving 1 hr to see her), I haven't had an apointment in a hot minute, and bc medicaid I need her referral to see a derm. As much as the internet is not a replacement for seeing a derm, I'm grateful for what general knowledge has been provided and to steer me in the right direction while i navigate this medical system i.e. at least using spf and being gentle, monitoring possible triggers, etc.
It's too bad I'm also a spicy food and coffee fiend....and too bad the sensory part of skincare is part of what makes it nice and beneficial for me mentally. So ditching things that smelled nice but were irritating is breaking my heart a bit. Anyway for anyone else going through anything similar we got this and will figure it out in time. I'm wishing you all luck as well 🌿🙏💓
This was me! I went to the dermatologist and she diagnosed me with rosacea at 35. I thought it was pimples! I have an olive skin tone and light medium skin color so I didn’t see a lot of redness. I never knew rosacea could also show up as pimples.
ОтветитьHow do I treat my postule rosacea ?
ОтветитьI have it on my nose only
ОтветитьHi Dr
Endocrinologist here! I'm wondering how to use benzoil peroxide with ivermectin for a patient with papulo pustulose rosacea plus hormonal acne (sorry, my english is not so good)
Can you have both? Of course I have rosacea, I know it but I still have 2-3 blackheads spread over my face and a lot more often 3-4 pimples. Mostly painful and under the skin..😢
ОтветитьCan someone explain why i have had this since i was like 3 years old 😀 my cheeks have ALWAYS been red and on bad days my cheeks get super hot and extra pigmented, often also when i train and i just need to know if this is normal and how i can treat this?!
Ответить
