Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - Before You Buy

Dude Kata has so much potential moving forward I can’t wait for the third game

I’ve got a hunch she’ll be trained as a “Jedi” under Cal but I got an inkling that Merrin would teach her tricks too.. Imagine Kata being an insane hybrid character of Jedi and Nightsister with a newer idealogy from Cal’s light side beliefs allowing him to have connections

My hope is the next game we play as Cal where we have Kata as an apprentice and a tremendous emotional baggage of killing her Dad, where Kata as an angsty teen goes back and forth on being irrational as a Jedi nightsister hybrid, and the trilogy concludes where Cal (very much at the level of a Jedi master now) has to sacrifice himself to save Kata, forever imprinting on her the importance of self sacrifice, helping her to understand the difficult decisions that lead up to her father’s murder and setting her up beautifully to be her own stand alone protagonist in a future trilogy

I don’t have much to base that off of aside from some hopes and dreams and a little bit of dialogue post campaign. Please though. Please. Kata’s potential to be a very complex Jedi Nightsister hybrid is so insanely cool to think about 🫣

Boring

I loved the first one and I loved this one. I put so many hours into this and it was worth every second.

Seriously if you like Star Wars you gotta play this one it's amazing. It's not easy, but it's amazing.

Found this video to say this game took me EXACTLY 100 hours to finish the story. I didn’t rush it but I also didn’t explore every inch I’m only about 80% complete. Game isn’t perfect I’d say I definitely got my $70 worth

But I already bought it.......

Do I really need to play Fallen Order first? Or can I just buy Survivor?

Can you play it on keyboard and mouse on Xbox Series S?

I wish they would stop putting a health bar over every enemies head. For some reason I hate it so very much. It’s distracting especially when there is a lot of them. It’s supposed to look somewhat real and all the extras ruin it for me.

Absolutely loved the game , love the Star Wars just lore world and characters , and loved this vibe it had and supporting characters were amazing , looking forward to 3rd part!

Before you buy this horribly terrible game don't! This maybe one of the worst games I've ever had the bad luck to lay these eyes on. Combat system the worst ever made/broken , the saving system- I can't even get into this or I'll actually have a heart attack. I hate how bad this stupid piece of actual dog shi+ is. I love star wars passionately..this game should exist. Give us a game that isn't the worst linear campaign ever imagined . Fire the entire staff, start again anew. Here's the concept - open world , star wars , boom. Stop effin around idiots.

This just looks like every other game by EA. It is trashy looking. Mediocre graphics, dull gameplay, and an embarrassing story.

Hate that in the game of 2023, a lightsaber won't leave marks on the walls (at least!). In the jedi academy 2000s, they had that, c'mon :D

I actually hated this game a lot. It fixed issues I didn’t like about the first game, but it felt so unfulfilling and random with the combat.

I have to disagree with you on this I love the channel but this game is trash. You can't even interrupt your combos and that really messes you up when you're fighting bosses and multiple enemies, you can only calendar a projectile or a melee not both or all at once because he's not a digital copy it's a live motion game. So no hit boxes with multiple counters, your health force and stamina block bar go down so fast it's ridiculous, cals movements like kratos in god of war can't keep up with the npcs fps, live motion sucks in gaming because the character is the only realistic thing in the game. While everyone else moves twice as fast and has buffs. Sometimes his movements lack precision because of the way he moves in real life so it won't match the game his running is the same pace as his walking sometimes, it almost feels like I'm playing assassin's Creed 1.

I really guess it's the right channel to say it loud Laidback Luke, but I wanna spend a few words about Chuck Berry, wasn't he the perfect one to play Chewbacca after leaving a regular job at the movies?! Radio Snack, uh? I guess I'd go Specialized before Rockrider or Trek, with some reasoning. I'm still doing me, I never wanted to be a pilot when younger, I wanted to be a sex symbol. What's next, Rouge One not to buy?! Namastè.

Yeah this game is far superior to the first game.. I actually really didn’t like the first game, the second has fixed all my complaints I had just like Ragnarok did for GOW

mediocre game. after 2 month this game still buggy, performance issue, the story and combat is mediocre. not gonna buy the third one in full price. disappointed "AAA" star war game.

I was extremely optimistic for Jedi survivor, but when he said that it was almost a platformer, I was kind of bummed, but im looking for a good T rated games. but Does anyone have suggestions for T rated games on PlayStation?

Why didn't you guys talk about how broken this game is? I have a PS5 copy and it's terrible, no matter what settings I use the game continues to fail!

I love this game but it was terribly optimized on launch. Definitely needed a few more months in the oven

I heard the game was broke ,lagging fps drops ?

Hey I was wondering if anyone had run into the same bug as me, and if so what you did to fix it. I've been playing Jedi Survivor for roughly 15 hours on PS5. Recently, I started dying to enemies a lot more often, and I noticed that attacks from basic enemies were halving my health. I checked the gameplay to see what my difficulty setting was, and it was at Jedi Grand Master. I turned back to Jedi Knight and kept playing, but I was still getting my ass handed to me by groups of three or four clankers. I checked my settings again, and it was back on Jedi Grand Master. I've been trying to change it back for the last half an hour, but every time I exit the menu, it reverts back to Jedi Grand Master. Has anyone else had this bug?
P.S. If anyone replies with 'just git gud' so help me lord!

This is the first time I've ever suspected heavy bias from this channel and as others have suggested 'being paid to say it's good". As I sit here writing this I've had to refresh the licenses on the PS5 as the game has crashed at the loading screen. The game has a horrendous amount of bugs, graphical issues, glitches and about everything else under the sun.

When it does work it can be enjoyable, but I'm quickly pulled out of this with a new bug around every corner.

This game hasn't been completed properly and shame on the channel here for not pointing out the flaws.

I just beat the game. It was a great time and definitely worth it imo. If you liked the first game then this game is worth it.
