until it wasn’t.....
As a longtime Disney fan, it’s disheartening to see their movies, with so much potential, never get the love they deserved from the start. Disney poured immense resources into these projects, relying on blockbuster success and creating their ‘next big thing’. Yet, despite the initial hype and continued appreciation from audiences like me, they failed to generate the desired returns, leaving Disney to grapple with the aftermath of their ambitious yet unfulfilled cinematic ventures.
What would drive a studio to copy another film almost scene-by-scene? And why did they exploit their fans?
This is a film pretending to be something it’s not, hiding under a seemingly harmless facade, but layered with lies.
This is Disney's Failed Next Big Thing; Planes.

This movie was just very boring and super forgettable! I was a kid when I watched this!

Excuse me?!?! EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!?! Planes is actually my favorite movie of all time!!!! How dare you disrespect this movie?!?!?! I loved it as a kid and I STILL LOVE IT AS AN ADULT! This movie made me feel emotional through out the film. I care about these characters and I care about that one scene where Skipper told Dusty his backstory and how he couldn’t be able to fly. That scene made me tear my heart out. I literally don’t see a single thing wrong with this movie. I love it so much it remains as my favorite movie of all time! So how dare you people! Are you guys meaning to tell me you didn’t feel anything at all? Are you meaning to me you didn’t feel emotional over Skippers backstory and Dusty’s entire character arc. Are you meaning to tell me the plot is boring? WHATS SO BORING ABOUT THE FILMS PLOT? GOD DAMN IT!!!! Ok I will admit the sequel to the movie did kinda suck but THE FIRST PLANES MOVIE?!?! ARE YOU F*CKING SERIOUS?!? Maybe you guys just don’t know what a good movie is. This video hurts me. ☹️

Erm Disney+ came out in 2019 and planes came out in 2013. it was supposed to be direct-to-video movie not a disney+ original

WTF are you even talking about? lack of adult apeal? look, im an adult who watched this movie as a kid, and now, im a aerospace engineer and i love this movie even more? "why do they put so much time in engine sounds, it dosent matter", OF CORSE IT MATTERS, watch again, and study engineering, you will see that all racer planes competing use convencional Internal Combustion engine, that generates betwing... 300 to 700hp, the ones with the best engines would be "el chupacabra" that is a BeeGe with a radial engine... that produces 1000hp.... meanwhiile dust is a cropduster.... to be more especifc a airtracktor... it uses a PT-6 TURBOAXIS REACTION ENGINE, it has basicly a jet engine that produces a BASE of 1600hp, and can be easly upgraded to 2000hp, this engine its the same used in light fighter-bomber aircarft like the T-29 Super Tucano and the Pilatus PC-21, you wanna understand the apel? become an aviator and you will see it, it was not made to normal person, but for aviators and aviator's kids

it doesnt matter if being realistic appeals to kids art for the artists first and thats what they decided to do, plus plane engines sound cool, and there are definitely kids who care abt that
