RE Nichushkin: This was his 3rd strike. He left the team in a bad spot two years in a row which undoubtedly contributed to the Avs early exits from the playoffs. I'm not sure how he can regain the trust of the locker room and coaches. Kinda like he's done too much damage has been done.

Re: Nichiskin: Good riddance!!! He has single handedly destroyed the Avs chances at a Cup the past two seasons AND this past season especially....the Avs had a great chance to make a deep run. If I'm Sakic I'd DUMP THE CHUMP!!!

My prediction is Leon will test FA next summer and barring the Oilers winning the cup, I feel he will move on elsewhere and McJesus will follow suit the subsequent year!!! The FA for summer of 2026 will be crazy and I hope the Flyers will be in position cap-wise and competitive-wise to make a play at the 1-C they been desperately searching for!!! #97 & #39 baby!!!

Pens should trade Ryan Graves to the Avs for Valeri Nichushkin. Crosby and Geno would love that.
Graves 2020 with the Avs = +40. Graves 2023 with the Devils = +34.
Who were Graves defensive partners when he led the league in +/- in 2020? 2020 1st: Graves = +40. 2nd: Dougie Hamilton/Jaccob Slavin = +30. 3rd: Victor Hedman = +27. Graves had the best PLUS/MINUS in the whole league! Cale Makar/2020 = +12 on the Avs. The Avs only have 3 players in the top 50 players in +/- and Makar finished 40th at +12. TRUST ME IT'S MIKE SULLIVAN that SUCKS!
Funny note: In 2023 Graves finished 5th in the league with a +34 while new Pen Matt Grzelcyk finished 2nd overall at +46.
Extra note: Graves also can't score on the Pens. Points totals for Graves: 28, 26, 26, and 15 (in only 54 games). He only had 14 points on the Pens in 70 games. YIKES, what a change Mike Sullivan really is.

How does Big Val regain the Trust back from the Avs organization and franchise. He left the Team hung out to dry not once but twice. He has been big for us on the Ice when he is on the Ice. The Avs front office just rewarded Val with a pretty decent contract not that long ago. Hopefully the Team figures out what is going to go down with Val because the Franchise could definitely use that money in else places. Vals Contract and Landy kinda ties their hands together.

Krebs is a flop, he's done nothing in three years, he's worth a second round pick. Farabee has better stats.

I like Krebs as a reclamation project, but you’re right not for farabee straight up. Farabee has potential to be a 30 goal with 50 to 60 points a season guy. I know centers are more valuable than wingers, and with the flyers lack of center talent on the roster, what else could they possibly get from buffalo that will help? The flyers second biggest weakness is goal scoring, so trading a guy like Farabee without replacing his production id a one step forward 2 step back move.
