seems I cannot get the wlan0 to work wlan0: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state DOWN group default

rfkill was blocking my wifi. Not sure how that came about.

I have an issue where the PI is swapping the LAN IP address to what I typed for the WiFi… why is that happening?

I did this but now the raspberry pi itself don't have internet access. When I try to update the packages or install new packages, I have error because there's no internet access, only the wifi connection with raspberry pi.

I was able to edit the file exactly as demonstrated. For some reason when I type ifconfig to check the ip address after reboot, it's not the static ip address i wrote in the file. It still shows old ip address.

Why in my kali pi doesnt have dhcpcd.conf?
