What happens if they stay in MO2 "Overwrite" and you leave them? As far as I can tell the mods work fine so why am I doing this? I think that know why/if it is important, very important or perhaps mandatory to keep this clean would help my though process, which isn't that powerful...
Thanks
You're creepy
ОтветитьWhats the differece in result between dragging/dropping the overwrite output and right clicking to create a new mod?
I assume that with tools that are like FNIS which creates more than one folder, the right click is a necessity to 'export' everything under one file.
But then you did the same for xEdit. Are they the same in essence or is there a nuance that i must keep my eyes open to?
Oh, btw, amazing video! I love your editing and the tone of your explanations. As long as you're here, i will follow.
Thank you ! And maaaan you are so good at diction... your speech skills are impecable 😊😃 !!! And you've mastered the art of smiling while talking 😃😃 You are soo good at this ! Ответитьoh fuck
Ответитьso, what do you do when you didn't know about this and already have a plethora of stuff in the overwrite folder?
ОтветитьI have mod organizer v2.4.4. I have an error that says there are files in my overwrites folder. However, I don't have anything in my UI to indicate I have an overwrite folder. Running fallout 4.
Ответитьthank you for your explaination sir..... it truly helps.....
ОтветитьDude! Nice fallout 4 theme cover!!!
ОтветитьMichael, you're the best man. I have just started to get back into modding, at least I am trying haha, and I forgot what to do with "Overwrite". This is such a clear and concise explanation, I appreciate you man.
Ответитьim trying to clean my overwrite folder but it became such a mess. i already cleaned files that are obvious like drag & dropping some ini's and such to their corresponding mods. also switched programs outputs to empty mods like nemesis, xedit ect. but there are still tons of files that i don't even know where they came from. is there a reliable way to learn what to do with each file, or am i too late for this?
Ответитьthis doesn't explain the most important question: why is it important to drag and drop into the particular mod's folder vs simply creating an "output" name 'mod' and checking that at the bottom of the list.
caveat: i understand the danger of having a tonne of different mods output to overwrite and mashing them all into one output 'mod' to check.
need this guy to read me a book
ОтветитьOnce again explained in a way even a noob can understand.
All those forums I read and re-read and not one of them said "Right-click on overwrite to make a new mod..." Haha, they think everyone knows how to use MO2. That program is awesome but nothing about it is intuitive.
Thanks.
Go to work in the radio or something bro, voice acting idk
Ответитьthis dude's so handsome
ОтветитьThank you so much for explaining super clear and simple. Also, your audio is so crisp and top notch, I hit like just from hearing the intro.
ОтветитьThank you so, so, so much. You're a saint 🥺
ОтветитьGP, can we get a vote whether or not your facecam is visible when you explain step-by-step? It's taking away my focus a little bit
ОтветитьThank you for this tutorial!
Ответитьcan you help with downloading mods via discord ?
ОтветитьI don’t see overwrite anywhere in mod manger 2 am i blind can someone help ????
ОтветитьHow do you know when to drag and drop and when to create a mod for the output? Im guessing if its an INI you drag and drop, and otherwise its a mod? Thanks for the tutorials man
ОтветитьSo you are supposed to launch to menu every time you install a mod and back out to see if it creates anything in overwrite folder? I usually do about 5-10 mods (reading the mod page of course) then pop in for a test, but it seems if I continue with this method, I may end up unsure of which mod is outputting to overwrite. Since overwrite is at the bottom of the list, wouldn't any files in there just win any arguments with mods if left alone? Is this purely for organizational purposes, or could it actually mess things up if left untouched?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWhat about mods with the lightnight bolt with plus sign next to it, alongside ones with a minus next to it?
ОтветитьWhat about the backup files?
ОтветитьIf I don't overwrite the mod, is there any harm?
ОтветитьWhile I am still a little confused since it is my first time modding I thank you for your crisp and clear format.
ОтветитьCan you make a guide to install valhalla combat? There are a million showcase videos but not a single one step-by-step guide
ОтветитьIm still so confused lol. Started using MO2 yesterday, I used Vortex before but my game kept on crashing to desktop.
So... Ive managed to figure out how to install MO2, created an instance blablabla, linked nexus and know how to add mods via Nexus.
Now I'd like to add two things: firstly I want to several mods that are only downloadable via the bethesda mod ingame menu, how do I do that?
Secondly I'd like to know does this tutorial counts for F4SE for Fallout 4? I am literally at loss right now hahah, both frustrated and fascinated at the same time, I have a lot to learn... Modding isnt just downloading mods through a link like I used to do it via Vortex. MO2 is a whole different ballgame.
Man, something is so comforting about the way you approach these tutorials. Makes me at ease and more confident with what I'm doing.
ОтветитьThus guy should play Barry Resident Evil.
ОтветитьI find that MO2 Arbitrarily changes my FNV Load Order. Nexus has locked its MO2 Forum so I cant ask what in the eff is going on. I never had that happen with MO1. Excellent Video!
ОтветитьStarfield should have a Gamer Poets NPC in it as respect. You are a gem.
Ответитьwhat do i do with files generated from the mcm mod(fallout 4)?? how do i know what to do with each different mod output
ОтветитьThis channel is seriously awesome man... Genuinely great work the editint etc. You make it simple & relaxing and you seem like a really chill wholesome dude, you earned my sub friend😎👍 keep puttin out great content for the modding community we appreciate it!
ОтветитьOoo I fuck up 😅
ОтветитьThis was very helpful! Thanks for making these videos!
ОтветитьDude your voice alone is worth $$$
ОтветитьThank you for this awesome video, I’m so confused with modding since it’s my first time.
Should I uninstall all my mods and install them one time at a time?
Been subbed to your channel for many years. Good to see that you are looking well, Love all of your video's! Looking forward to watching many more!❤
ОтветитьDamn i shouldve known that from the start i recently switched to MO2 because vortex wasnt working right
Ответитьi saw you archived the SSEDIT functionality for skyrim , i started a new playtrough with 1500+mods and atleast 500 are patches , i think i have to use SSEDIT but dunno how, please can you redo the video on my cases? thanks
ОтветитьIs there anway to undo making a Cache for the overwrite folder?
ОтветитьThank you very much, I was getting that notification with a Fallout New Vegas mod and I couldn't fix it.
