I have the original. I <3 it. I'm going for a smaller laptop BUT with more crap, so I guess I'll be upgrading my bag too ;)

Do you think I can pins anywhere on it. That's the main reason I've thought about getting the original and I didn't know if I could dec it out with pins or if that's not an option. And if it's not ,well make it one

Aww this is awesome. If the thinkgeek guys see this, pass along my thanks to the folks who designed the original. I had two and wore them out since I was using them so much. And from what I see here, pretty much everything I sent back as feedback has been fixed!

The clip was my main problem with the original, both of mine broke off within a few months. If I end up with a bigger laptop, I might have to look into this for college.

It just sucks that I bought mine only 2 months ago. It feels like you found your first +1 longsword only to realize the rest of the party has already gotten their hands in +2 weapons.

Now does the side metals flip like they did in the last bag. I need to update mine my last one served me well and is now tattering.

PLEASE release a version of this with hybrid backpack straps. (like the original)

I do hope the stitching holds up; mine started falling apart after a few years of use, and I desperately need a new one. Same to be said for the magnetic buttons and the lining pocket in the flap... a lot of things fell apart over the course of 3 years.

UGH! I'd been waiting for you guys to bring this back for so long and even settled for the large but unruly Backpack of Holding in the interim but, now that it's here all I can say is "UGH!"

I mean, jeez, the new color is so drab. And it's as if someone was embarrassed by the geeky idea of this being called a "Bag of Holding" because the strip that has the logo and the name ditched the old nice one and now has both of them engraved in a way where you can't even tell what it says and half the brilliance of this was to have a freaking "Bag of Holding" in big bright letters so you'd get to make bad jokes at the D&D table.

Look, the upgrades are fine but the visual aesthetics have pretty much ruined what was a perfectly good thing. I do like the inner liner but nobody really sees that really so, like everything else here, it's like someone is ashamed at the whole concept and forgetting who this was made for.

Sadly, after this long wait, I may have to pass and wait until you offer better aesthetic options or bring back the classic edition.

Wish I could find the handbag of holding again. The red dragonscale one i have rarely gets use because it is made of a material that is NOWHERE NEAR as hard wearing as the canvas from the other bags and was not in a good state after 6 months whereas my bag of holding version 1.5 with the additional backpack straps on it, is still going after nearly 8 years. I regret not getting the canvas one in the first place.

I bought the original off of ebay two years ago, and loved it. I just got the new version off of ebay too and am even more in love lol

I have the old model. And I have taken it to the ends of the earth and back. I put two laptops, maybe 3, cables, patches, pens and pencils, external drives and even shoes in it at some point and it swallowed them. But now, the zipper pulls are breaking, the magnetic snaps are rusting and I was loath to get rid of it. Well thank you for making a new one. Can't wat to get it
