The Noel Diary Ending Explained

Incredible movie from beginning to end! It’s one of those movies you don’t want to end, it’s THAT great! I’ve seen reviews where people say you can’t fall in love that fast, and that’s sad that they think that because it’s definitely possible and happens all the time. I will be watching this movie again for sure, and I love that it’s wholesome enough to share with family and friends on Christmas Day. ALSO…it’s not your regular/predictable holiday movie at all, it has me guessing to the very last minute! Such a fantastic movie, and even though I just finished watching, I may have to start it all over again lol!

What I like about Christmas movies is that they remind us of the essence of Christmas — love and forgiveness, but this movie just doesn’t feel right. It teaches us forgiveness but at the same time “unfaithfulness” or cheating in a relationship. Why would two people (one engaged and one single) do something they shouldn’t do? The guy just met the girl in like literally 2 days and then felt in “love”. So this movie is just a 5 out 10, and I won’t recommend it.

Ok so i usually don't do dramas and love movies so i only watched this coz of Barret Doss coz she's my best actress in station 19. But guesss what? She never disappoints. Great movie, great story. Watching again

This was a nice movie about relationships. Unlike many Christmas rom-coms, the two main characters like one another from the start and collaborate to find someone. Several additional relationships are explored/developed throughout the film. I enjoyed it.

what a beautiful movie. Well acted, directed and this unspoken connection since she started singing - breathtaking. and no cheap tricks, just two strong characters that acting like humans. Probably the best of 2022 for me.

Rachel’s character was kind of assuming. Didn’t show a lot of emotion trying to find her birth mother. Their “love” story unfolded with so little foundation. And the ending was meh. Eleanor seemed to have a more exciting story.

I was enjoying the movie just fine until it became the main girls birthday. Seen as this is a Christmas film I assume her birthday is in December, however her mother was 2 months pregnant when she was sent away and found work at the turner residents and she was there when Benjamin died at Christmas time. So how could the girls birthday be at Christmas time?!!

I absolutely loved this movie and I can see myself watching it over and over again. Great performances from everyone!!!

Eight stars probably is a bit overrated, but IMHO this movie is more fitting today's moral values and behaviour than the common cringe-worthy, über sweet and often hypocritic Christmas movies, which as a standard end with the first and only kiss (and then claim the main characters are in love.).

It acknowledges human needs and desires without becoming graphic; what might have occurred or is going to occur is merely hinted at.

Although the story itself is average, good actors and clearly noticeable chemistry between the main characters (not even mentioning Ava the cute dog, which role has meaning) made this movie quite a stand-out: rising above ground level,

Firstly, this movie wasn't actually filmed in winter time and the green screen and CGI really took me out of the story. This isn't Hallmark - what gives?

Secondly, this movie had so much to work with, but just didn't have the guts to go there. Everything was kept at such a surface level that it was hard to care or relate to the characters. I cry over pretty much anything, but I didn't shed a tear watching a movie about a woman searching for her birth mother and a man dealing with trauma and abandonment. There was no heart, no passion, no drama. No love. Rachel's decision didn't satisfy, the "closure" of Jacob's relationship with his father was anticlimactic, and the romance gave nothing. No conversation or kiss or anything that made it feel complete or earned at the end. Basically, it's a pass as far as Christmas movies go.

The bad reviews of this movie crack me up ... saying there are plot holes and bad script so hilarious. Obviously none of these people have ever seen or grown up with hallmark movies... which this one is actually much better than a hallmark movie with some great acting. Feel good Christmas movies are perfect for this time of year to spread cheer and happiness. Hartley is so sweet and relaxing to watch in this movie and I loved the love interest as well! And don't get me started on the cute dog Ava! She was so cute! I appreciate the sweet neighbor and him taking the step to visit his father. If you're looking for a sweet movie that will leave you feeling good and getting you into the Christmas mood watch this!

I am a fan of both Justin Hartley and Barrett Doss, I enjoyed the movie and have watched it multiple times-great movie

She was a cunt if you ask me , I died of laughter when she mentioned his instagram followers in her farewell letter . What a millennial moron the best scene of the whole film was the cheating scene but only cause of that badass oldie song

You are so right. I loved this movie in all sorts of ways. The subtle acting performances, the plot slowly developing while showing a growing attraction between Rachel and Jake - who come together as two somewhat broken people because of their past, and together find the courage to love again. They were meant for each other and fate brought them to a healing place. I was shocked to read so many negative comments from the public about this movie. People really didn't get it at all!

The chemistry between the two leads was believable and sweet. And though you know how it will end, you will want to watch the story unfold. I must also commend Ms Atkins' performance; her reaction to the news, wow. I also loved the neighbor. Those smiles in the ending say enough ... I would definitely recommend The Noel Diary.

Yes, Justin Hartley did a fantastic job as Jake Tapper. I really loved this movie. I think this is something I will see many times.

I watched the movie last night, it was good, however, I was disappointed the movie did not include a scene where Rachel meets her biological mother for the first time. Even better, an ending that included both Jake and Rachel meeting Rachael's mom, together as a loving couple, would have been great. Just think... Noel realizing that her daughter is in love with the very child Noel used to babysit when he was little. Oh well.

I was interested and engaged until she cheated and led him on, then sunshine and daisys she breaks his heart again and then turns up infront of him smiling like the grinch
