Brilliant talk from a very brilliant scientist! I love Ingrid Visser. Thank you for sharing some of Superpod. I hope to make it to Superpod one day!

Amazing talk!

The ideal the Morgan is better dead, than taken care of, is absolutely sickening to me. Ingird Visser, you are a hypocrite. You want to open a "sanctuary" for captive whales and dolphins, yet want to sell tickets for people to come view these animals, that you have "rescued"!

"Non-profit organizations, that are funded by the public visiting"... "not a matter of shows but a matter of doing education". " I have always believed that we shouldn't have them on public display." In these two sentences alone, you have contradicted yourself.

I love Ingrid and what she stand for. She wants orcas out in the wild where she studies and collect data to protect them. She does not benefit in any way from her orca research, she does not take visitors out with her to see the orca population and she has orcas existence in the forefront of her work. Orcas like Morgan and Lolita deserve to be returned to the ocean.

Dear Judge, if you happen to see this speech about Morgan, would you allow anyone kidnapped your child then being brutally beaten by other children then get pregnant at very young age not even matured enough for nursing? This is how we human treated one that may as intellegent as we human..Just that she doesn't speak human doesn't mean she knows nothing. Dr.ingrid, thanks for sharing,we need people like you and your team.

Keep this stuff up Dr. Visser, exposing lies Countries and Aquariums tell the public regarding cetaceans in captivity....pretending to rescue stranded Orcas and rehabilitate them, but then just keep them indefinitely under this guise of rehabilitation....how can they call 40 years on public display rehabilitation which was how they attained a permit 40 years ago to rescue the Orca they said publicly was stranded when it was not, it was simply captured....How can Human Beings do this just to make money, makes me sick to be part of the human race, it's simply heartbreaking to see this magnificent intelligent mammal like ourselves jailed and confined for nothing more then existing

Kills me how people complain about kids being put into the sex trade to perform a service for money but they line up to buy tickets to watch the inhumane torture of these orca's. There's no difference in my opinion. Sea world is a pimp and the orca's are their meal ticket.

I feel ashamed. Ashamed that my sisters would visit dolfinarium Harderwijk. I feel ashamed my old performing arts students were performers at the Dolphin shows at Harderwijk.

I lost much respect for them.

I went to Sea World one time in my life, as a child being taken by my grandparents. I will never go again.
