I’ve got an idea for a future video/videos, what if Tasmania(the Australian island state) was colonised by the French instead of the British, this has some historical basis as when the British first colonised Tasmania, they thought it had been officially claimed by them under their claim on the entire continent, however there was some international rule at the time that said a general territory claim could only include an island if there was an official settlement on both sides of the separating stretch of water, which there was not. The French realised this and rushed to claim Tasmania for themselves. This sent the British into a panic and they quickly crashed an outlaw settlement on the mainland side of the bass strait and made it an official settlement, Melbourne, thus officially claiming Tasmania two days before the very disappointed French arrived in Tasmania. It could be quite interesting to cover what a French Tasmania could have looked like if the British hadn’t realised their mistake in time

I was wondering if anyone had suggested a what if video about President Hamilton. Could he be elected if the only change was him not publishing the Reynolds Pamphlet? Personally, I think a presidential campaign of Jefferson vs Hamilton vs Burr would have been peak drama, but still probably would have ended in the infamous duel lol.
