Disappointed blues fan here. And unfortunately the rot goes. McDonald will go down as just another coach that couldn't deliver. He would probably rank 3rd best coach behind Graham Henry and Peter Sloane but in the end didn't really deliver. Let's hope next year we can get a decent spine. The last decent spine was 2003. We seem to have the lowest ranked player's in those positions compared to the other teams so bring on new selectors also.

What a real dissapointment Auckland Blues should have done better, just poor performance, too many missed tackles and getting penalised all the time.

I love the blues, sad to see them get so handily beaten. But the crusaders were brilliant in this game, will be interesting to see how Razor goes for the ABs.

Blues are not my team. Crusaders are not my team either, but the ref seemed to have a blind eye when the Crusaders were infringing. Much like the All Blacks. Crusaders however deserved to win this, Blues didn't get off the bus I'm afraid.

Blues still cannot beat Crusaders...frustrating...the Crusaders backline were outstanding...

We have seen evidence over the years of the quality of the Crusaders come finals time. They still surprised though given the number of injuries ,they were as good as we have ever seen them. What was unfathomable was how poor the Blues were. Thats two years running they got to a big showdown with the Crusaders and meekly lay down. Sometimes blow out wins are difficult to follow up. Its when a team hits a peak like this to follow up the following week. The Chiefs meanwhile have been winning ugly . Thats often a recipe for success in knockout rugby. We will see.

The Blues have all the attacking talent in the world.
But there too many show ponies not doing the hard work.
The crusaders do the basics well.The Blues don’t do the basics well.
Tackling,mauls,breakdowns,line outs,scrums.
