Took me years to realize brienne had her own soundtrack

Everything after this moment was a figment of my imagination

The most incredible part of this scene for me personally is the way the camera pans to the three knights in that room when their most defining trait/quality is mentioned.
In the name of the Warrior, I charge you to be brave: Brienne bravery, which we learned by that point, is absolutely unquestionable, after all the dangers she willingly faced.
In the name of the Father, I charge you to be just: Davos disobeying kings, going against self interest and even self preservation to always do what is right and just.
In the name of the Mother, I charge you to defend the innocent: Jaime knowing king slaying punishment is death, defends innocent anyways. Later spared by Robert's pardon.

You can see in their face/eyes, how each of those phrases deeply resonates with them. I love most Davos nostalgic expression. Almost like he's remembering vividly those same words uttered at him on the day he was knighted himself and the events that tested those same vows recently. Understanding the pride, joy and vast range of emotions this new knight is currently feeling themself.

"You don't need a king... any knight can make another knight... I'll prove it."

She is My fav character. She is honorable. Best scene music and diaglogue .

i like that the titol of the soundtrack is "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms", because it's the titol of the book in which Duncan the tall, who is the ancester of Brienne, appear. is a neat coincidence

What a phenomenal episode. Even though season eight was the weakest season, I think this episode was actually my favorite of the entire series

I am actually crying now. This was one of the best moments in the entire show. Jaime and Brienne's love for each other was pure and beautiful.

This scene was the one good scene I take from season 8.

Why season 8 is not as good as its music ? 😭

We never got to saw a good finale from this masterpiece .

This theme was similar to the one used when Brienne was writing Jaime's entry in the King's Guard book. I wonder if this was used in other seasons prior.

Brienne finishing Jaime's memories was an instant that made me cry. Beautiful detail.

Here ends game of thrones.

As controversial as the writing was, one thing remained, the OST was absolutely breathtaking.

The only thing that would have made that scene better.. I kept wondering why the others didn't immediately get up and actually walk over to stand on either side of them as witnesses in a more formal fashion instead of just peaking over like they're wondering what's going on.

Whatever your opinions on season 8 are, episode 1 & 2 were amazing

How many versions of this theme are there? I know one is called The Old Gods and the New, and then there's another variation of it playing when Brienne rides off to find Sansa in season 4.

Love this... the main theme is the “Brienne. Theme, the old gods and the new”, however the music is played with a duo... which reflects the soulmate, the echoes of Brienne and Jaime’s heart... extremely beautiful...

Bryan Cogman should have written the whole season 8 because episode 2 was the best of the whole season

A different ending: City surrenders, jon and the forces march towards the castle to catch cersi, Cersi goes to her hand: burn them... burn them all! Hand: "but what about the people my queen?". Here jaime comes in and hears her as she shouts "BURN THEM ALL". Jaime walks in, hand walks towards exit, Jaime stops him. Insert long emotional dialogue Jaime goes to her, hugs her, says "You will always be my queen" looks at the mountain straight in the eye, then stabs her. Mountain loses it and tries to kill jaime, they sword fight for a bit till hound gets there. Then hound fights him (you know how this ends) meanwhile hand tried to escape and jaime hunts him down. Jaime tries to stop him from setting whole caste on wildfire, jaime sacrifices himself to prevent wildfire from spreading any more and dies a hero. This ending: shows his character development and doesnt throw away 8 season's worth of Mhysa. Thanks for reading!

One of the best scenes in game of thrones, sadly the rest of the season didn’t live up to the bill. :c

The sweetest moment in the entire series. I had tears of joy and was soooo happy for Brienne. Kudos to Cogman for writing this scene.

This is the first time I shed a tear for someone I was so proud of and happy for.
