It's not great for Ukraine to lose any land, but Russia can't lose tanks and artillery at this rate forever. They're fielding T-54s and M-30s already. When the Soviet stockpiles are gone, the Russian production rate will fall drastically, and we will see a very different kind of fighting with very different results.

I'm also not convinced that Russia will survive as a nation for much longer. What will happen when regions start to break away or get taken over by China, and Russia has no tanks to prevent it? I don't see any way Russia finishes this war in possession of Vladivostok - do you? How about Chechnya, whose leader declared blood feud against several Russian politicians? And Belarus is shooting down Russian drones that cross its territory.

I think that by Ukraine invading Russia the foolishness of leadership was exposed for the world to see. More examples of the US military predilection to develop technologies that are to advanced and not trialed effectively. Bradley's survive because they are cost effective and effectively upgraded with modern technologies.
