a 360 camera needs to be at least 170mp to be even considered a serious camera. In any single view you only see approx 20% of the whole image at any time. so a 24mp 360 camera is only showing a 5mp resolution, not acceptable to be considered professional quality. People have the perception that if they use the toy Theta Z then they are seeing 19mp all the time when in fact they are only seeing less than 4mp and they wonder why it is soft and not sharp etc….

They just need to make a session like cube action camera and they will own the fpv market! Will give the Dji action 2 a good run for sure I think.

How about a Go 3 that can snap onto an FPV drone designed and marketed by Insta360?

I’m actually hoping it’s a stripped down X2 or an updated SMO360 even though I think you’re probably right. I fly FPV with a OneR 360 but have made a DIY battery-delete solution. (5V reg in a 3D printed mount) It’s still pretty heavy even without the battery. I’d really like a lightweight 360 option.

What kind of drone you have in this video that attached to GoPro

I'm kind of hoping they would make a lighter version of their 360 cameras that the FPV community could build around, like they did around the One R. It would be so cool to have a sub 250g 360 FPV build. I think this would have a lot of commercial applications, aside from spurring the popularity of 360 video with hobbyists.

I also support the call for a cube camera, but at a more affordable price than the DJI Action 2. I know Insta360 already has the Go 2 but they need to have a camera that has a more robust build, like the GPH Session or the Runcam Orange, and have the ability for internal storage via microSD along with a replaceable battery and, ideally, the ability to replace the lens when it gets broken. This kind of camera would be a huge hit with the freestyle community, who post most of the videos on YT anyway.

A naked camera would be extremely appealing to the helmet-cam market such as motovlogging, especially if it came with 3.5mm audio in.

Can you get them to take down the "Coming Soon" crap on the 3d camera. They have released everything in the world EXCEPT that. We dont need to know what they are NOT selling. Gee another new camera, I wonder if its the one Coming Soon, nope, not for many years. Tell them to take that crap off the web page.

I’ve been almost exclusively using insta360 products on my fpv drones, even a cracked lens insta360 Go1 cuz I liked it so much. They get the job done and stuff like the SMO4k and Go2 help me make builds that can fly for a while and stay under the 250g weight mark.
My SMO4k is currently in the shop. Service has been a bit sketch at first but once I got someone it’s been pretty good.

I will never buy insta360 anymore. I have insta360 one r modular. The crackling noise is so annoying. I had to buy external mic to remove the crackling noise. I was really disappointed!

Since sphere is out, Insta360, I want my money back on the aerial edition!

Its a true great camera....BUT.....the regulations for the Air 2 and Air2S are increasing in Europe...meaning after 2023, the allowance to fly with these drones will be very limited! Insta can better release a new and further improved Insta360....waiting for the One X3!
