So we got full SC-FI in the story, and the gear we get is this? I don't know wtf is the problem with the FF14 dev team, but all the gear we get is just random shit that has nothing to do with the style of the story, raid or anything.... just random garbage all the time.

Design like this would make an actually good reason for healers to strike.

I see where people are coming from. But to me, they look like the coats that wrestlers wear before their match and immediately take off when they get into the ring. Kinda plays into the tournament thing they have going on.

Kinda hate that males get the worse versions with the shirtless coats. Would have been cooler if they had under shirts or even a leather vest.

They kinda remind me of 90s wrestling. Some Stone Cold Steve Austin boutta challenge you because you slept with his GF tier outfits.

I’m not the biggest fan of these but they do not deserve the hate they receive. They fit the story and they work perfectly for what they’re supposed to be. Not everything has to be tech wear for the 10000000x time, if you don’t like it you have other options. Hope to see more different looking sets from them
