Still sounding tight. I didn't know what to expect from this, but it does sound like classic X. Good tune! Was happy to see X back in the day. Also got to see Auntie Christ, which has now sort of been lost to the mists of time. Google that if you want some obscure 90s Xene!

I use to go see them a lot on the Sunset Strip back in the day. This sounds a bit like early Blondie, I like it!

I saw X perform their first album in its entirety, at the Greek theater a few years ago and it was stellar!!!! I adore the new songs!!! Just as vibrant as ever.
I'm a hard-core fan since X started playing clubs.

My g-d I can't get enough of this song. "stay Awake and don't get taken" is chilling moving and heartbreaking to me here on the Canadian prairies with the MMIW crisis. I've loved this band almost all my life, I suppose...It's been 40 plus years since 19 year old me heard Wild Gift at a party and it felt like I had known those songs all my life.(Exene casually throwing off her gem lyrics like "Let's not talk about bombs or the brain impulses of severed limbs" ....I was...AGOG) And then they played the university ballroom (Mac Hall in Calgree)a few months later (I could be wrong but I feel like it was a double gig with Los Lobos?) and a couple of months after that I had a band of my own. Exene truly was the voice that launched a thousand bands. Is it time for an X tattoo yet? I missed the boat on getting a Germs burn.

What a perfect bookend to their debut release! Same awesome songcraft and rockin’ energy. The 2 best bands in America are X and Starcrawler…(who recently opened for X in their hometown of Los Angeles.) A perfect last album for X…👏👏

I went to see X at a San Diego club just when they started getting air play on KROQ in the 80s. What a phenomenal band, with the coolest mix of personalities. John Doe and Exene wrote and delivered incredible songs and vocals. Billy Zoom with the smile glued to his face while he rips off Chuck Berry riffs like a flame thrower was (and still is) my favorite. What an amazing band. Glad to see they stuck with it.
