Lawrence Welk Show - Can't Help Singing from November 12, 1966 - Mary Lou Metzger Hosts

Thanks for continuing to post these. Our Denver PBS station got too high-falutin and stopped carrying Lawrence 3-4 years ago. I tried to tell them that all the kids who grew-up with the show watching it with their parents, and who have sent them money every year for decades, look forward to watching the show and feel abandoned by the station that I guess thinks cool and hip younger folks will watch the stuff they put on now at 6 pm on Saturday nights. The powers-at-be at the station haven't yet clued-in that young folks don't even watch broadcast TV any more, let alone PBS, and are out on Saturday nights anyway. No more $240/year from me to support them after literally probably giving to them annually for more than 30 years, often times in response to their fund-raising campaigns using Lawrence Welk specials.

I always me & my family would sit down on a Saturday night & watch this show. Steve.

To think how much energy this 12 year had in 1966 is brought back to memory as I once again enjoy this great Welk show here on Saturday 5.27.23🎉🤩

Is the lawrence welk show reruns still on PBS. I have not seen them on TV for a while.
