The New Way To Setup Windows 11

People complain about having to use terminal commands to get Linux working right. But setting up windows feels like cleaning out a dirty hoarder house.

It's just another app tyrying to copy WinToys! Except WinToys does more and it gives pop up explainations of everything along with a reccomendation telling why or why not to disable each thing. When you disable something with WinToy's it stays disable there is no having to run a script again.

Sounds much too complicated for someone like me.......

used this tool and it deleted almost everything from my desktop, I did a system restore but the files did not return - be careful

When Windows does an update, does it put all this stuff back? I see you can un-install Copilot, I recently took it off my PC but I read it is something MS is pushing and will try to install it again, this is the sort of thing I hate with Windows, they push stuff on you without asking, then you have to spend hours trying to get rid of it.

i can't run it as ADMINISTRATOR. even when i go to it's location and choose 'execute as administrator'. how can i do that?

If I have a system that meets ALL requirements for Win 11 but just doesnt have a TPM module, can I just bypass that and I will get all the updates or will MS still complain and block me from updates or complain about my hardware?

Formatting the PC is easier, Windows 11 now provides a generic network driver, so gone are the issues with having to put all drivers on USB!

I'm still using winaero tweaker along with my customized ISO that has no edge and all updates installed. I might have to do media refresh for 2025.

this script did nothing to turn my computer into windows 11 all i feel i is is a windows 10 debloater.

If you don't want all that bloat on your system then download Open Mandriva Linux. It's easy to use, easy to maintain. It has zero bloat and they're very non-woke! 😁

I try this app and it's buggy and didn't do some of things in order to tweak pc. Take care 🤙

Are we honestly not to the point yet.. That we have to use special install methods and workarounds.. Special software to remove all the bloat and garbage we would never use or want for that matter… Just to get windows 11 working on hardware we already have that is perfectly fine but Microsoft says no… I’m saying no to Microsoft.. Done with it.. I don’t need or want to spend another $700 to $1000 to buy another pc just because Microsoft says my I7 pc with 16gb of ram is ewaste. All I need is a web browser.. A media player.. Office software.. And some photo editing software… Guess what.. Linux does it.. As a matter of fact most of the software like Libre office I was already using is native to Linux. So why are we all doing these workarounds and registry edits to get what we want… Just send a message to Microsoft and give Linux a bigger market share.

Tried this last night but at the 'Run Script' at the end a command box pops up saying you need Administrator rights, I ran it in Administrator Mode ??????????????

I installed Windows 10 and it activated without entering a key yesterday. It's funny because I bought a key but Windows didn't use it.

How do you run the script has admin?

This looks like a fancy GUI version of Chris Titus's Windows utility, but with less features. Still a very clean, simple process, and it's less intimidating for a lot of users.

Great job! Unfortunately, I have several new Windows computers to set up, all with Windows 11, which I am dreading. So, your suggestions and processes are very much appreciated. I do tend to avoid all the installed MS apps and suggestions, so your recommendations are well-received. Thanks for posting.

You skipped over how to run as an administrator just before running the script. I came to a full stop at that point because I had no idea what to do. A Google search threw up some very complicated looking methods. Happily it is very easy to do. When loading Winscript from the app list right click on it and select Run as administrator. Sorted.

I wish there was a video showing how to force windows 11 to power down properly. I’m sick of booting my pc up to find the batteries dead, casing warm as it’s ran all night in the bag with a black screen.

I have a I5 laptop with 8 gig ram. Always used between 50 and 60%. I tried numerous solutions and none worked. Ran this program, kept the things I wanted, now my memory usage is around 42%. Thanks for the video, I've been a subscriber for years and love what you do 😊

CDkeysales states that an "MS account is requried" I assume to validate a product key for MS Office 2016 Pro Plus. WHY????? I don't want a MS account!

Microsoft wants to embed AI in Windows 11 and all future versions. As there is no way to install Windows 11 without the artificial intelligence, there is no reason to ever foolishly install it. And that goes for Apple operating systems and their horrible AI infested iPhone 16 Pro also. End of story.

Becareful with this app i used a version a few yrs back and did some deblouting and after a week or so windows quit altogether I, and i do not recommend BUYING KEYS as well . If you want windows Buy the O.S i always buy from Microsoft a CD is recommended. Thank you for reading me.

This seems to be very nice software, and I wish that when installing Windows 11, it were cleaner and did not include so many different things that many people do not use. If people need or want different Microsoft software, it would be better if Microsoft put it in the Microsoft Store, not in the operating system itself. Then, absolutely, there is also a little too much tracking in Windows 11, and also in Windows 10, but sure, it is not possible to completely escape tracking with all the different devices we use today. It won't install. Panda Antivirus sees it as a virus. (W32.Exploit.gen). Be carefull installing this.

When Lenovo installed Windows 11 on my Win dows 10 WITHOUT my permission when they were fixing my desktop which crashed with "Blue Scree", I tried to install my paid Ms Office Home & Student 2019 which I have in Ms Store, but W11 would not allow me to do that, as it kept coming up with Ms 365. Will this program allow me to install my Ms office home & students?

Nice one mate. After using it, it did all I wanted. An unexpected result was that now the font in some apps menus like firefox. Desktop icons and Windows explorer is Tiiiiinyyyy. Been looking how to get it back to default settings, but haven't been able to find a solution and I don't want to restore Windows.
