How to share Animal Crossing New Horizons on 2 Switch with 1 game copy

if i put the animal crossing cartridge in another switch will it transfer the data to the new switch?

Does this work with 2 friends or does it only work if you do 1 friend

So me and my little sister each have a switch (I have a lite) and she has physical copies of Animal Crossing and Pokemon. Let's say I want to buy a few digital games such as AC, Pokemon, and Zelda, and she wants to buy separate games, such as some Mario games, how would we make sure the games we purchased had the person who purchased it as the primary owner? And how exactly do we go about sharing them? I understand deregistering, but how would we return the game's primary account holder to the other switch, so that the owner is the primary owner for only their games?

can you do game sharing with one GAMECARD? or can it only be digital?

on the nintendo website it says i need to wait a year if i deregister my switch if i do it remotely? will this happen if i do this with my friend? (we just want to do it for a week before her online expires)

Can someone clarify... Does it work if the secondary switch is online and is part of the primary switch's online family account? Or, do we need completely separate ONLINE accounts, meaning pay for two separate subscriptions?

Thank god I have the digital copy but man that really sucks that the 2nd switch must have an online membership just to play together if you were playing by yourself. I mean its local play. It doesn't make any sesne to me.

Next question, I know that all three cannot share the game at the same time. Would the two secondary consoles be able to alternate playing with the primary, or does Nintendo strictly lock it down to two consoles regardless?

I have to warn everyone if you have one digital copy you cannot play local together. The other person must have a 2nd copy of the game in order to play local. It still works if you try using "online play" but it won't work with local player because again the other person doesn't have a 2nd copy of the game.

My profile was on her switch already. me and her were both able to play AC without me having to pay on my console. (Your method) I later bought the expansion pack for my switch lite so i can have the DLC: happy home paradise. The shop kept saying i have the membership but not the content (animal crossing nh) downloaded on my switch, which i was confused by. When i deregistered her switch, and made my the primary console, it gave me my DLC on my lite. Thats great! But, it said she doesnt have AC on her switch anymore. Im so confused 😭i just want us to use your method and me be able to have the DLC. What do you suggest i do? I rather not pay for the game again her switch.

I'm having issues. I usually know how to do it but it's not clicking. My son had to get a new switch lite. His old one is the main one so I deregistered it and then logged in the store on the new switch. Did I do that wrong. Am I supposed to log in under his profile under my switch which is the one where I bought all the games. We both have nintendo online? the family plan
