Took me weeks to figure out the difference between frame and bounds. Took months for me to learn there was a mask parameter. Sure wish I had found this video a month ago. You explain it so clearly! One question though - if I have a control nested inside several other controls - let’s say it’s a collectionviewcell inside a tableview row inside of a container view. Is there any way I can query a particular cell and get its frame with respect to the entire screen rather than just its parent view? “Frame” will only give me the co-ordinates within its immediate superview. How can I get the absolute frame?

1. do i need to make the mask file for myself(in photoshop or something)? if yes, and how to make a mask file? is there any builtin mask in Xcode?
2. if mask is used in a camera app, to crop the output image, will the final image be very small?

First of all, awesome tutorial! Thank you for your help on this. I just had an issue. In my project the mask is not resizing in different screens sizes. The imageView itself resize perfectly without the mask but when I'm applying the mask, it just cutting the image. Anybody had this issue?

note1: I made all the assets 1x, 2x and 3x
note2: the constraints seems fine to me)
