No beef with Cher but Nick Cage was great in Moonlighting too so it wasn't all "Cher." What about Mark Whalberg in "Fear?" Kris Kristofferson opposite Streisand in "A Star is Born?" Maybe Whitney Houston in "The Body Guard" or Dwight Yoakam playing the supreme POS in "Sling Blade!"

How in the hell is Ice Cube and Eminem on this list? The title is "GREAT MOVIE PERFORMANCES". Those were to "good" movies but the acting performances no so much.

On the other hand, WILL SMITH is not on your list. His performance in "The Pursuit of Happyness" arguably tops everyone on this list. Add to that Independence Day, Men in Black Series, Bad Boys Series, Ali, I Robot, Hitch, Hancock, I am Legend, Collateral Beauty, and more. Will Smith is one of the best actors on Earth. and "THE" best actor who achieved fame in music.
