Laravel Microservices - Day 1

Off topic:
I have been using windows all my life, thinking to switch to mac, I mostly use tools within Laravel ecosystem and sometimes java/springboot.
Do you think mac with 8 gb ram is enough? I know it might sound dumb but mac is supposed to be better when it comes to memory management. Currently my pc would go into hibernate mode when the cpu usage is at its highest for 10/15 mins and would shut down.

What's microservices used for sir? i hear many people talk about it but they always use spring boot. and laravel for microservice is the same thing sprint boot does, right?

Hi Steve, just finished to watch all the video. I have a question, so are you going to use Redis to store the access token and access it through all the applications (sharing the same Redis)? I am not expert in micro services, but I am wondering if it is possible to separate somehow this “middle man” responsible for authentication. If Redis crash for example, no one can log in in all the applications. Is this somehow possible to “secure”? Thanks in advance

Hey, good stream Steve! I didn't get to watch live but have caught up this afternoon. Top tip on the model factory and passing in a factory instead of creating a new instance, I was aware of the issue but not of the fix!
