What's the significance behind Akuma no longer having his sandal things? As far as I know since the beginning, he's ALWAYS had them. But now this is the first time where he's barefoot in his default costume.

Meanwhile, Ryu was always barefoot since the start of SF. Now Ryu has the sandal things instead.

Honestly, Akuma looks pretty awful. Visually anyway.

I never cared for this whole “wild man” look they started giving him, but at the very least you could count on them including the classic look to counter that.

But now even the classic Akuma looks bad because they beefed him up so ridiculously. They didn’t need to give him muscles upon muscles to show his strength. In fact I find him more intimidating with a slim build yet still being powerful enough to destroy mountains. The muscle bro look is just too much.

You see a bunch of us in Black cloaks running towards you. You see me in a gold cloak, big tall muscular evil ass motherfucker running at you. First I start off like this cuz I don't need my full speed to catch you. Then I see you start to speed up then I start speeding. Then I just go and I just sick my whole Covenant and they're just chasing you running at you like wolves in black.

It really surprised me that if the HP reaches about 20 or 25% that some of the finishers and moves become more powerful

I just noticed that one of akuma's target combos is used by retsu in world tour, I wonder if anyone else will get something from there
